Abstract:
A diver's station and umbilical cart neatly stores the umbilical cord and other various items used in hookah diving and has a frame made from various bars of aluminum stock. A set of wheels is pivotally attached to one end of the frame while a handle is attached to an opposing end. A seat is telescoping attached to the frame proximate the wheels. A first set of legs extends upwardly from the frame proximate the handle and has a first tray there atop, while a second set of legs extends upwardly from the frame between the first legs and the seat and has a second tray there atop. A telescoping post extends upwardly from the frame and passes through the second tray, the post having a T-brace there atop.
Abstract:
Novel materials for chromatographic separations, processes for their preparation, and separation devices containing the chromatographic materials. In particular, hybrid inorganic/organic monolith materials comprising a polymerized scaffolding nanocomposite (PSN), wherein the nanocomposite contains a scaffolding functionality capable of chemically interacting with a surface of a second material are described. The hybrid inorganic/organic materials have enhanced wall adhesion and increased resistance to shrinkage as compared to prior art monolith materials. The improved adhesion of the monoliths enable the preparation of capillary columns with an internal diameter (I.D.) ≧50 μm.
Abstract:
A curtain hanging system is disclosed which comprises an I-shaped slide member, the second end of which is portioned to slide within the interior space of a curtain rod, the first end which slides beyond the curtain rod and a middle brace which connects the two. The curtain hanging I-shaped slide is manufactured from a rigid material, such as plastic, lightweight metal or composite. The first end of the I-shaped slide has one portion of a two portion, self-adhering material affixed to it. A curtain hanging kit can be provided with a length of lightweight material with a plurality of the second portion of a self-adhering material on one side. A pressure sensitive adhesive is placed along the other side of the lightweight fabric with a releasable backing material placed over the adhesive. The kit additionally provides a plurality of I-shaped slides, trapezoid-shaped slide members are provided which are used to open and close the curtains.
Abstract:
A curtain hanging device is disclosed. The curtain hanging device features a rod which has a rectangular cross section composed of a first surface, a second surface, a third surface, a fourth surface, and a fifth surface. The first and fifth surfaces of the rod lie within the same plane and are spaced opposite and parallel to the plane of the third surface. The first and fifth surfaces have a lateral dimension less than that of the third surface and are spaced from each other, such that a channel is formed along the length of the curtain hanging device. The curtain hanging device includes at least one I shaped slide member. The I shaped slide member has a first end, a second end and a web connecting the first and second ends. The first end has a pair of side surfaces and is dimensioned to slide within and along the channel such that the pair of side surfaces remain parallel to the second and forth surfaces. The second end has a grooved surface and a pair of horizontal surfaces. The grooved surface has a concave groove extending substantially perpendicular to the direction of travel of the I shaped slide member along the channel. The horizontal surfaces abut the grooved surface. The curtain hanging device also includes an overlay. The overlay has an affixing means and a brace portion. The affixing means are disposed to allow removably affixing the overlay to the I shaped slide member. The brace portion has a mating surface and an attachment surface. The mating surface has a convex portion dimensioned to mate with the concave grooved surface of the second end of the I shaped slide member. The attachment surface is provided with one portion of a two portion self-adhering material.
