PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium black dispersion composition for a solid state imaging element, wherein the storage stability of a dispersion composition containing titanium black is high, and to provide a black radiation-sensitive composition, in which roughness is not generated on the upper face of the pattern and flatness is excellent when forming a pattern.SOLUTION: The titanium black dispersion composition for a solid state imaging element contains (A) a substance to be dispersed including titanium black and an Si atom, (B) a dispersant, and (C) an organic solvent, wherein the (A) substance to be dispersed has a BET specific surface area in a range of 55-84 m/g, and the content mass ratio (Si/Ti) of Si atoms and Ti atoms in the substance to be dispersed is in a range of 0.20 to 0.41.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black curable composition that enables a light shielding color filter for a solid state imaging device to be formed, in which a pattern is formed even at low exposure dose or suppressing pattern defects even when the composition contains a high concentration of inorganic pigment.SOLUTION: The black curable composition for a solid state imaging device includes: (A) an inorganic pigment; (B) a copolymer containing (b-1) a monomer having at least one of an amino group and a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic group, (b-2) a monomer having at least one group of a carboxyl group, a phosphate group and a sulfonate group, and (b-3) a macromonomer having a weight average molecular weight from 1,000 to 50,000; (C) a polymerization initiator; (D) a polymerizable compound; and (E) an alkali-soluble resin having an unsaturated double bond.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispersion composition having high dispersibility and dispersion stability of titanium black; and a polymerizable composition giving controlled residue in the unexposed section and good adhesion sensitivity when molding a pattern. SOLUTION: This polymerizable composition includes (A) titanium black, (B) a polymeric compound containing a structural component having a side-chain structure to which an acidic group is bonded via a linking group, and (C) a solvent. The polymeric compound (B) is a polymer having a structure where an acidic group is bonded to the main chain via a linking group. This polymerizable composition is useful for light-shielding color filter, a solid state imaging element of high image quality using the color filter, a liquid crystal display, and a light-shielding film of a wafer-level lens. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive photosensitive resin composition capable of obtaining a clear cured product without clouding and cracking (breaking), and also to provide a clear optical member without the clouding and cracking (breaking), which is obtained by curing the positive photosensitive resin composition.SOLUTION: A positive photosensitive resin composition includes: an inorganic particle (component A); a graft copolymer having a constitutional unit of a specified structure (component B); a solvent (component C); a polymer having the constitutional unit having a group detachable by acid and/or heat (a1) and the constitutional unit having a cross-linking group (a2) (component D); and a photoacid generating agent (component E). A cured product and an optical member obtained by curing the positive photosensitive resin composition are provided.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive resin composition forming a shading film superior in infrared shading and reducing a residual object out of a formation region of the shading film in forming the shading film.SOLUTION: A titanium black dispersion contains (A) titanium black particles, (B) a dispersion agent, and (C) an organic solvent. A specific surface area of a dispersed body consisting of (A) the titanium black particles is 50 m/g or more. The titanium black dispersion is used in formation of the shading film shading an infrared ray provided on the other face of a silicon substrate having an imaging element part on one face.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium black dispersion composition for a solid-state imaging element that exhibits excellent stability over time, and a method of producing the same; and to provide a black radiation-sensitive composition for a solid-state imaging element, the composition exhibiting excellent stability over time, wherein residues originating from a radiation-sensitive composition are prevented from being generated at an area outside a region at which a cured film is to be formed, when the composition is used for forming a black cured film, such as a light-blocking film.SOLUTION: The titanium black dispersion composition comprises: (A) a material to be dispersed, comprising titanium black and Si atoms; (B) a dispersant; and (C) an organic solvent, wherein 90% or more of the material has a particle diameter in a range of from 16 nm to 30 nm, and a content ratio of Si atoms to Ti atoms in the material, represented by Si/Ti, is from 0.20 to 0.50. The method of producing the titanium black dispersion composition, and the radiation-sensitive composition containing the dispersion composition are also provided.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive resin composition for wafer level lens that is superior in hardenability and can reduce a residual object originated in a photosensitive resin outside a formation region of a shading film, and to provide a titanium black dispersion for wafer level lens used for the photosensitive resin composition, and a wafer level lens with a shading film formed by using the photosensitive resin composition.SOLUTION: The titanium black dispersion for wafer level lens contains: (A) titanium black particles; (B) a dispersion agent; and (C) an organic solvent, wherein an object to be dispersed containing the (A) titanium black particles contains Si atoms, and the content ratio (Si/Ti) of Si atoms and Ti atoms in the object to be dispersed is 0.05 or more. The photosensitive resin composition for wafer level lens contains the titanium black dispersion, (D) a photopolymerizable compound, and (E) a photopolymerizable initiator.
