Abstract: A fluidic die includes an array of nozzles, each nozzle to eject a fluid drop in response to a corresponding actuation signal having an actuation value. Nozzle select logic provides for each nozzle a nozzle select signal having a select value or a non-select value. Actuation logic provides the respective actuation signal for each nozzle, the actuation logic to receive one or more drop weight signals, and for each nozzle select signal having the select value, to provide an actuation signal having an actuation value to the corresponding nozzle and/or to one or more neighboring nozzles based on a state of the one or more drop weight signals.

Abstract: In one example in accordance with the present disclosure, a fluid ejection die is described. The die includes a number of actuator sensors disposed on the fluid ejection die to sense a characteristic of a corresponding actuator and to alter an evaluation voltage based on a performance of the corresponding actuator. The die also includes an actuator evaluation device per primitive to detect a failed actuator based at least in part on a comparison of the altered evaluation voltage and at least one threshold voltage. The die also includes a number of disable device coupled to respective actuators and to disable failed actuators.

Abstract: In some examples, a fluid ejection device includes a communication interface comprising a plurality of communication channel circuits capable of communicating over respective communication channels, and a configuration controller, responsive to an input, to selectively activate at least one communication channel circuit of the plurality of communication channel circuits, wherein different inputs to the configuration controller are to cause selective activation of different numbers of the plurality of communication channel circuits. The fluid ejection device further includes a nozzle controller responsive to data received through the activated at least one communication channel circuit to cause activation of at least one corresponding nozzle to eject fluid.

Abstract: Example implementations relate to low voltage bias of nozzle sensors. For example, a fluid ejection die according to the present disclosure may include a plurality of nozzles, and each nozzle may include a nozzle sensor and a fluid ejector, among other components. The fluid ejection die may also include a voltage reduction device to maintain a low voltage bias on the plurality of nozzle sensors during an operation of the plurality of nozzles. A plurality of sense circuits may be electrically coupled to a respective nozzle sensor among the plurality of nozzle sensors, and each sense circuit may evaluate a status of the respective nozzle after the operation.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a plurality of nozzles configured to eject fluid and a fluid ejection array controller connected to the plurality of nozzles. The nozzles are arranged into a plurality of primitives, and the primitives are further arranged into a plurality of virtual primitives that each includes at least two primitives. The fluid ejection array controller generates ejection control data for each virtual primitive based on contents of a virtual primitive control packet. The ejection control data includes, for each virtual primitive, a first instruction instructing a first primitive of the virtual primitive to fire and a second instruction instructing a second primitive of the virtual primitive to not fire.
