Abstract: In summary, there is provided a docking unit coupled with a portable computer comprising: a key hole into which a key is rotatably inserted, the key having a first key position, a second key position, and a third key position; first safety means operating in response to key position, whereby a portable computer and a peripheral device are so secured at the first key position as to prevent removal of the portable computer and the peripheral device from the docking unit; and second safety means operating in response to key position, whereby the peripheral devices are so secured at the second and the third key positions as to prevent removal of the portable computer and the peripheral device from the docking unit.

Abstract: A docking station adapted to receive a portable computer comprises: (a) a first docking unit 200, which can be mechanically coupled with the portable computer, including a first connector 221 for electrically connecting with the portable computer, a plurality of connection ports 231, 232, .. provided for the respective port signal lines that run from the first connector, and a second connector 222 for directly passing through bus signal lines that run from the first connector; and (b) a second docking unit 300, which can be mechanically coupled with the first docking unit, including a third connector 321 for electrically connecting with the second connector, space for retaining a peripheral device connected to a bus expanded through the third connector, and at least one bus slot 322 to connect an expansion adaptor card to the bus expanded through the third connector.

Abstract: Ein Berechtigungsprüfungssystem, dass eine Berechtigungsprüfungs-Prioritätsliste benutzt, die auf dynamischer und virtueller Gruppierung von Endgeräten beruht die zur Berechtigungsprüfung verwendet werden wobei das System zu einer Effizienzverbesserung der Berechtigungsprüfungs-Prioritätsabfolge bei der 1:N-Berechtigungsprüfung und bei der Hybrid-Berechtigungsprüfung führt, indem die Berechtigungsprüfungslogik zwischen 1:1- und 1:N-Berechtigungsprüfung umgeschaltet wird. Maskieren zuvor angemeldeter Benutzer für die Berechtigungsprüfungs-Prioritätsliste bei 1:N-Berechtigungsprüfung verbessert die Effizienz der Berechtigungsprüfungs-Prioritätsabfolge bei der 1:N-Berechtigungsprüfung.
