Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain ink for thermal transfer being excellent in printing characteristics, by adding a specific viscosity-reducing agent to hot-melt resin of high-melting viscosity according to a purpose so as to adjust the viscosity. CONSTITUTION:Solution-type ink for thermal transfer, which is constituted by using, as a base binder, the resin having a melt viscosity of ten thousands-million cps (measured at 120 deg.C), is proposed. In order to reduce the melt viscosity, one kind of a viscosity-reducing agent selected from a group comprising resin, wax, a higher fatty acid, a higher alcohol and synthetic ester, whose melt viscosity is 1-600cps (measured at 120 deg.C) and which is not soluble to a solvent used (which is dissolved by 1g at the maximum in the solvent of 100g at 40 deg.C), is contained by 5-250pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. of base resin. Resin, wax, a higher fatty acid, a higher alcohol or a synthetic ester whose melt viscosity at 120 deg.C is 1-400cps is desirable.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a thermal transfer ink film capable of being used for printing a multiplicity of times, by incorporating a resin specified in melting point and solidifying point into an ink used for a multi-time ink ribbon of the type in which a molten ink exudes from a non-transferable structure. CONSTITUTION:A resin to be used is any resin which has a melting point (JIS-K0064) in a temperature range capable of being obtained through heating by an ordinary thermal transfer printer head, namely, 55-110 deg.C, and a solidifying point (JIS-K0064) lower than the melting point by at least 5 deg.C. The resin may be, for example, a polyamide resin, a polystyrene resin, a polyester resin, a polyethylene resin, a polyether resin, a polystyrene/acryl copolymer resin or a phenolic resin. A thermal transfer ink comprising the resin and a coloring agent as essential constituents is applied to one side of a base to produce a thermal transfer ink film for multitime printing.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To apply printing having good resolving power and good high speed followability to rough surface paper by using a specific polyether resin and an ethylene/vinyl acetate resin as the ink binder of hot-melt ink based on a color forming component and a binder in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:Hot-melt ink wherein 5-50wt.% of a polyether resin (a) having a bisphenol skeleton in its molecule and having a hydroxyl group at its molecular terminal and 30-90wt.% of an ethylene/vinyl acetate resin are added to an ink binder (contents: b>=a) and the use amount of the polyether resin is 3-30% by wt. of the total ink compound excepting a volatile component such as a solvent is applied to a base material through an intermediate release layer. Further, an org. fine powder or an inorg. fine powder such as silica can be also compounded. By this constitution, high speed followability, high printing quality and printing fastness can be simultaneously satisfied.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance printing quality and the reflecting density of a transfer image, by using thermal transfer ink containing a specific amount of alkaline earth metal phenate as the colorant dispersant thereof. CONSTITUTION:The heat-meltable ink applied to a base material contains 0.1-5wt.% (on a solid basis) of alkaline earth metal phenate and, as alkaline earth metal phenate, an alkaline earth metal salt of alkyl phenol represented by formula (I) or (II) (wherein R is a 1-40C alkyl group, x is a numeral of 1-2 and Me is an alkaline earth metal) is pref. When the content of alkaline earth metal phenate is below 0.1wt.%, the dispersion of the colorant is insufficient and the expected effect as a thermal transfer recording material can not be developed. When said content becomes more than 5 wt.%, separate non-pref. effect appears and, especially, when said content becomes 10wt.% or more, blocking is easily generated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a thermal transfer ink superior in printing characteristics, by a method wherein at least one sort of anti-tack agent is contained by a specific amount in a base resin with a base binder of a resin having a specific range of melt viscosity. CONSTITUTION:As a resin serving as a base binder, a resin having a melt viscosity of 10,000-1,000,000 cps (in the measurement at 20 deg.C) is used ; for example, a resin having a melting point ranging 60-120 deg.C, such as a polyester resin and a polyamide resin, and the mixture of these resins may be used. As a low-melting anti-tack agent, every material made of at least one selected from among a resin, a wax, and a group made of a higher fatty acid, a higher alcohol, and a synthetic ester, having a melt viscosity of 1-600 cps in the measurement at 120 deg.C, is available. The at least one sort of anti-tack agent is added 5-250 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the base resin. If at least one part of the anti-tack agent to be added is soluble in a solvent in use, the inhibition of the structural viscosity is made possible, thus resulting in a good coating properties and printability.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extendable type disposable diaper, where its back side can flatly extend without wrinkles and solid gathers and leg gathers readily applicable to a baby are provided. SOLUTION: An extendable type disposable diaper is provided with a liquid-penetrable surface sheet 2, a liquid-impenetrable or repellent back sheet 3 and a liquid-retaining absorptive body 4 inserted between these two sheets. The diaper also has a pair of leak preventive cuffs 6, 6 with an elastic member 61 for forming solid gathers, and a pair of leg flaps 7, 7 with an elastic member 71 for forming leg gathers, both arranged in its longitudinal direction. The diaper can be divided into a flank part A, a crotch part B and a back part C. The absorptive body 4 consists of a high weighing region 4A and a low weighing region 4B. The low weighing region 4B applies to the back part C, while the high weighing part 4A applies to the crotch part B.
