    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve fuel combustion on of running an engine and to improve the high output, exhaust gas cleaning, low fuel combustion, and low noise of the engine while maintaining the good cold startability of the engine. CONSTITUTION:The assembly hole 10 of a fuel injection valve 5 is bored in a position nearly opposite to the nozzle hole 3 of a cylinder head 1, and the fuel injection valve 5 is inserted into this assembly hole 10 to face the injection nozzle 6 of the fuel injection valve 5 to a swirl chamber 2 inside. An oscillating support 12 is fixed to the fuel injection valve 5 and the fuel injection valve 5 is swingably mounted in the assembly hole 10 via the oscillating support 12 to oscillation-operate the fuel injection valve 5 by an injection direction setting means 20 to make the main injection direction of spray fuel 7 setting- possible. At the time of engine start, the spray fuel 7 proceeds straight through a nozzle hole 3 to set the main injection direction in a straight-jetting direction B0 reaching to the main combustion chamber, and at the time of engine running, the main injection direction is set onto the reflux side (A-B1) of a whirl flow S.

SOLUTION: Out puts of plural constant-voltage power circuits capable of supplying more electric power than total power required for operation are provided, so as to be also supplied to comparison voltage generating circuits 31-31, and the comparison voltage generating circuits 31-31 respectively generate comparison voltages by dropping the input voltages by a resistance dividing method, and supply them to the corresponding comparison circuits 33. Output terminals for outputting voltages lower than the voltage to be inputted to a DC/DC converter board are also connected to input terminals of reference voltage generation circuit 32 respectively, and the reference voltage generation circuit 32 respectively generate the input voltages by the resistance dividing method and generate the comparison voltages, and supply them to the corresponding comparison circuits 33. The comparison circuits 33 compare the comparison voltages applied from the corresponding generation circuits 31 with the reference voltages supplied from the reference voltage generation circuit 32, and supply signals to control device provided in an exchange operation part, when the former is not higher than the latter.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the mounting workability and sealing property of a backup material by inserting a plug into an annular space located in an opening at both end parts of a groove part facing a valve stem inserting hole, filling a filler into the annular space between both plugs through a through hole formed in a valve casing and solidifying the filler so as to form the backup material. SOLUTION: When an annular elastic seat 6 is installed in the valve casing 1 of a butterfly valve, while the leg parts 6a and 6b of the seat 6 are deformed elastically, it is closely fitted into a groove part 7 formed in the inner surface of the valve casing 1, and the circumferential end part of the seat 6 is projected by a specified length from a hub seal ring inserting hole. Next a rubber plug 14 is inserted from an end part opening in the circumferential direction of the groove part 7 into a space 9 in the circumferential direction of the seat 6 through an inserting hole 1B until its top end is brought in contact with a round bar stopper 13. Then a valve element 5 is closed to a position where the seat face part 5A of the valve element 5 is brought in contact with the inner surface 6b of the seat 6, filter 8A is filled into the space 9, and the filler is solidified so as to form a backup material.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate release of air remaining in a fuel supply system and prevent intrusion of air into the fuel supply system at the time of stopping an engine. SOLUTION: A fuel tank 1 is arranged at a lower position than a fuel injection pump 4, and a first filter 2, a feed pump 3 and a second filter 8 are provided in order of a fuel flow in a fuel supply passage 6 communicating the fuel tank 1 and the fuel injection pump 4 to each other. The fuel injection pump 4, a fuel injection nozzle 5 and the fuel tank 1 are communicated to each other by a circulating passage 7, and excessive fuel is circulated to the fuel tank 1 through the circulating passage 7. A primary chamber 10 of the second filter 8 is communicated to the fuel tank 1 through a bleeder passage 12, and a downstream part 7b of the circulating passage 7 and the bleeder passage 12 are made to by-pass in a U shape to a position lower than an oil surface level H of the fuel tank 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To make the mounting height of an engine cooling fan selectable by installing plural pieces of driven wheels, different in each turning center shaft, in front of an engine body and also each fan mounting seat in these plural driven wheels, respectively. CONSTITUTION: A driving wheel 10 is attached to a front end 9 of a crankshaft, and two driven wheels 13 and 14, different in each height of turning center shafts 11 and 12, are installed in front of an engine body 1, through which these driven wheels 1 3 and 14 are made so as to be driven by the driving wheel 10. In this constitution, respective fan mounting seats 15 and 16 are installed in these two driven wheels 13 and 14, and thereby they are constituted so as to be attached with each engine cooling fan 7 in selecting either of these two driven wheels 13 and 14. According to suchlike constitution either of these two driven wheels 13 and 14 different in each height is selected, and each engine cooling fan 7 is attached to these fan mounting seats 15 and 16, whereby the mounting height of the engine cooling fan 7 is properly selectable.

The sound insulating cover 7 has a structure wherein the nozzle cover 6 and the head cover 2 are mutually reinforced through the partition wall 8, and the stiffness of the whole sound insulating cover 7 is enhanced, and sitting noise of a fuel injection nozzle 4 and noise of the head cover chamber 10 can be effectively insulated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To remove the rattling of a case attaching stay and to reduce the number of parts by forming a filter case in one body with an intake manifold through the case attaching stay. CONSTITUTION:A filter cartridge 15 composed of a filter element 1 accommodated in a filter case 2 is detachably attached to the lower side of a case attaching stay 3 provided on the main oil pipe of an intake manifold 4. The case attaching stay 3 is formed in integral construction in aluminium die casting the intake manifold 4. The lower face of the case attaching stay 3 is concavely provided upward, and an outlet barrel 30 where a fuel outlet 33 is opened is hangingly provided in the central part of the above lower face, and its periphery serves as an inlet chamber 31 where a fuel inlet 32 is opened. The connecting barrel 27 of the filter case 2 is threadedly engaged on the outer periphery provided with an external thread of the outlet barrel 30.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for operation to open and close the air bleed port of a fuel filter and the air bleed port of the fuel reservoir chamber of a fuel injection pump by a method wherein air in the air reservoir of the fuel filter is pushed out to the fuel inlet of the fuel injection pump through a fuel feed pipe and pushed out to a fuel tank from an air bleed port being always opened through an air bleed pipe. SOLUTION: The fuel inlet 6 of a fuel injection pump 4 is situated in a level lower than that of the fuel outlet 5 of a fuel filter 3. A fuel pipe 7 to interconnect the fuel inlet 6 of the fuel injection pump 4 and the fuel outlet 5 of the fuel filter 3 is inclined downward toward the fuel inlet 6 of the fuel feed pump 4. An air bleed port 8 always opening to the fuel inlet 6 is situated in a level higher than that of the fuel reservoir chamber 12 of the fuel injection pump 4. An air bleed pipe 9 led out from the air bleed port 8 is communicated with a fuel tank 1.
