    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent ferrite sintered compact exhibiting high magnetic permeability, high electrical resistance, low core loss, and high induced electromotive force. SOLUTION: The ferrite sintered compact comprises 100 pts.mass main component comprising 42-54 mol% Fe (in terms of Fe 2 O 3 ), 12-37 mol% Zn (in terms of ZnO), 7-35 mol% Ni (in terms of NiO), and 0.5-10 mol% Cu (in terms of CuO) and 0.001-0.6 pt.mass Zr (in terms of ZrO 2 ), Zr having been dispersed uniformly in the sintered body.
