Abstract: A voice controlled device comprises a plurality of microphones, a communication interface, and a controller. The plurality of microphones are configured to receive voice inputs from one or more users for operation of the voice controlled device. The communication interface is configured to receive sensor data from an external device, the sensor data describing an environment of the voice controlled device. The controller is configured to operate a first subset of the plurality of microphones in response to first sensor data and a second subset of the plurality of microphones in response to second sensor data.

Abstract: A system of household appliances is configured to provide services according to user identity. The system includes a first appliance, a server or other network device, and a second appliance. The first appliance is configured to collect sensor data associated with an identity of a user. The server or other network device is configured to receive the sensor data from the first appliance and analyze the sensor data to determine the identity of the user. The second appliance is configured to provide a device function to the user based on the identity determined from the sensor data collected by the first appliance.

Abstract: A system that includes a cabinet and an accessory that is capable of being stored within a storage compartment of the cabinet. The cabinet may include a mirrored door having a ferromagnetic element. The accessory may include another ferromagnetic element. The accessory may be mounted to the door by magnetic attraction between the ferromagnetic elements. When the accessory is within the cabinet, it may be mounted to a charger so as to charge a power source of the accessory. In some embodiments, the accessory may be automatically transitioned into an active state when it is detected that the accessory is mounted to the door. The accessory may include a user-operated actuator that has a first functionality when the accessory is mounted to the door and a second functionality when the accessory is not mounted to the door.
