Abstract:
Borderless contacts for word lines or via contacts for bit lines are formed using interconnect patterns, a part of which is removed. A semiconductor memory includes: a plurality of active regions AAi, AAi, . . . , AAn, which extend on a memory cell array along the column length; a plurality of word line patterns WL1, WL2, . . . , extend along the row length and are non-uniformly arranged; a plurality of select gate line patterns SG1, SG2, . . . , are arranged parallel to the plurality of word line patterns; borderless contacts are formed near the ends of the word line patterns on the memory cell array, and are in contact with part of an interconnect extended from the end of the memory cell array, but are not in contact with interconnects adjacent to that interconnect; and bit line contacts are formed within contact forming regions provided by removing part of the plurality of word line patterns and select gate line patterns through double exposure.

Provided is a nucleic acid primer for LAMP amplification for use in the detection of human papilloma virus and identification of its genotype. The present invention also provides a method of detecting human papilloma virus and identifying its genotype, includes a step of amplifying the nucleic acid chains in a sample in LAMP reaction by using multiple primers including at least one primer selected from the nucleic acid primers according to the present invention and a step of detecting presence of amplified products after the amplification reaction and identifying their genotypes.
Abstract:
A cartridge detachably mountable to a main assembly of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. The apparatus includes movable first and second engageable members. The cartridge includes an electrophotographic photosensitive drum, a developing roller, a first force receiving portion for receiving, from the first engageable member, a force for separating the drum and roller, a second force receiving portion for keeping the drum and roller spaced from each other and for receiving a force, from the second engageable member, for separating the first engageable member and the first force receiving portion. When the cartridge is transported while being in a mounted state, the second force receiving portion receives a force for separating the first engageable member and the first force receiving portion from each other from the second engageable member.
Abstract:
A plasma display device and a method for driving the plasma display device are provided, wherein deterioration in image quality in a period immediately after power-on can be restrained while improving dark contrast. When driving a PDP, by applying various drive pulses, that includes a phosphor layer containing a secondary electron emissive material in respective discharge cells, drive pulses having different pulse waveforms are generated in a period from power-on of the plasma display device to after a lapse of a predetermined period of time, and in a period after a lapse of the predetermined period of time.
Abstract:
There is provided is a nucleotide primer set for LAMP amplification used for detecting genotypes of single-nucleotide polymorphisms C677T and A1298C of an MTHFR gene. There is also provided a nucleotide probe for detecting an amplification product amplified by the primer set according to the present invention. There is also provided a method of detecting the genotypes of the single-nucleotide polymorphisms C677T and A1298C in the MTHFR gene, by using the primer set according to the present invention.
Abstract:
A method of generating mask data, for a set of masks used to transfer a pattern for delineating a circuit pattern of a semiconductor integrated circuit, includes preparing design data having a design pattern corresponding to the pattern to be transferred on a semiconductor substrate; generating resized data by enlarging the design data by a resizing quantity; generating first mask data by filling a space area having a space width of a space quantity or less of the resized data; and generating second mask data, to be aligned with the first mask data, having a window portion for selectively exposing an area determined by enlarging the space area by the resizing quantity.
Abstract:
A process cartridge is detachably mountable to a main assembly of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus. The main assembly includes first and second transmission members. The cartridge includes an electrophotographic photosensitive drum, a developing roller, a drum coupling member, provided on one axial end of the drum, for engaging the first transmission member and transmitting a first rotational driving force to the drum, when the cartridge is mounted to the main assembly, and a shaft coupler, provided on one axial end of the developing roller, for transmitting a second rotational driving force with a deviation permitted between an axis of the second transmission member and an axis of the developing roller. The shaft coupler includes an engaging portion for engaging the second transmission member and receiving the second rotational driving force, when the cartridge is mounted to the main assembly.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an oxygen evolution electrode for formation of only oxygen without formation of chlorine at anode in the performance and the durability of the anode is so high that they are, even in strong acid, at the same level as that in neutral solution. The electrode is prepared by anodic deposition of multiple oxide consisting of Mn—Mo—Sn, Mo—W—Sn or Mn—Mo—W—Sn on an IrO2-coated titanium substrate. The multiple oxide are composed of Mn as the main component, 0.1-3 cationic % of Sn and 0.2-20 cationic % of Mo and/or W.
Abstract:
A folding seat apparatus for a vehicle comprising a slide mechanism for slidably moving a seat in a front-and-rear direction, and a pop-up mechanism for popping up a seat cushion. The slide mechanism and pop-up mechanism are connected to the control lever. The controller controls the actuator so that the control lever rotates in the forward or reverse direction. The pop-up mechanism is unlocked by rotating the control lever in a first direction, and the slide mechanism is unlocked by rotating the control lever in a second direction.
