Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided that may include a motor; an orbiting scroll; a fixed scroll coupled to the orbiting scroll, and forming a compression chamber together with the orbiting scroll; a frame coupled to the fixed scroll, and configured to support the orbiting scroll; a sealing member mounting groove having a ring shape, and formed on a first surface of the frame contacting the orbiting scroll, or a second surface of the orbiting scroll contacting the frame; and a sealing member including a first sealing portion formed in a ring shape, inserted into the sealing member mounting groove so as to be moveable in an axial direction, and configured to perform a sealing operation between the frame and the orbiting scroll in the axial direction and including a second sealing portion extending from the first sealing portion in the axial direction, and configured to perform a sealing operation between the frame and the orbiting scroll in a radial direction by contacting an outer side wall surface of the sealing member mounting groove A thickness of the second sealing portion in the radial direction may be smaller than a thickness of the first sealing portion in the axial direction.

Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided. The scroll compressor may include a fixed scroll having a fixed wrap and a plurality of first key recesses, an orbiting scroll engaged with the fixed scroll to define a compression chambers and having an orbiting wrap and a plurality of second key recesses, the orbiting scroll performing an orbiting motion with respect to the fixed scroll, a drive having a rotation shaft coupled to the orbiting scroll such that one end portion thereof overlaps the orbiting wrap in a lateral direction, and an Oldham ring having a plurality of first and second keys coupled to the plurality of first key recesses and the plurality of second key recesses, respectively. The plurality of second keys may at least temporarily protrude from the plurality of second key recesses in a radial direction during the orbiting motion. Further, the plurality of second key recesses and the plurality of second keys may be disposed to obtain maximum contact areas therebetween at a moment of start of discharging.

Abstract: A scroll compressor includes a discharge port formed at a central portion thereof, a pair of two compression chambers continuously moving toward the discharge port, and a plurality of bypass portions formed at each interval along a movement path of each compression chamber in the both compression chambers. Compression gradients of the both compression chambers are different from each other. An interval between a bypass portion closest to the discharge port and another bypass portion adjacent to the bypass portion among the bypass portions of each compression chamber is defined as a first interval. The first interval of a second bypass portion belonging to a compression chamber having a relatively larger compression gradient is smaller than the first interval of a first bypass portion belonging to the other compression chamber.
