The display apparatus includes a transparent display unit to display content including a first part and a second part based on a first direction in which a first user is located, a sensor unit to receive information sensed in a second direction opposite to the first direction, and a controller to implement mirror flipping the second part to be displayed in the second direction according to the received sensed information.
