Abstract:
A flexible display device including a flexible display unit; and a controller configured to receive a first touch input at a first position on the flexible display unit in a flat state, store, in a memory, first position information of the first touch input that is offset a first predetermined amount from the first position, receive a second touch input at the first position on the flexible display unit in a first bent state, and store, in the memory, second position information of the second touch input that is offset a second predetermined amount from the first position, wherein the first predetermined amount of offset is greater than the second predetermined amount of offset.
Abstract:
A display device detecting pressure of a touch input is disclosed. The display device calibrates the pressure of the touch input based on a distance between a position where the display device is gripped and a position on which the touch input is received. By calibrating the pressure of the touch input, the display device can obtain more precise pressure of a touch input.
Abstract:
Discussed herein are a video display device and a method of displaying a video. The video display device includes a communication unit acquiring a video including rotation information, a display unit displaying the video, and a processor setting up a video playback mode, wherein the video playback mode may include a natural display mode displaying the acquired video without performing any rotation compensation based upon the rotation information, and a horizontal display mode displaying the acquired video performing the rotation compensation based upon the rotation information, and wherein, when the video playback mode corresponds to the horizontal display mode, the video display device performs the rotation compensation of a plurality of sequential frames of the video based upon the rotation information, and displays each of the sequential frames of the video cropped to a size.
Abstract:
A multi-gaze recognition device according to one embodiment of the present specification includes a display module configured to display a display area containing a visual content capable of being scrolled, an input module configured to receive an input of a touch gesture signal to scroll the visual content, an image acquisition module configured to acquire an image in front of a device, and an analysis module configured to scroll the visual content using a first gaze and a second gaze detected from the image acquired in front of the device. The first gaze determines a maximum amount of a scroll area to scroll the visual content, the second gaze determines whether an event initiating the scroll occurs, and the analysis module is configured to scroll the visual content according to the touch gesture signal in a manner of judging whether the second gaze is within a scroll initiation area to initiate the scroll. The display area includes a first display area where an amount of the first area is determined according to the scroll area, the first gaze, and the second gaze. The first display area may include the scroll initiation area.
Abstract:
A method for editing the playback speed of a partial sequence of video and a digital device therefor are disclosed. A video editing method includes providing a timeline interface corresponding to a video sequence, receiving a first user input for specifying a first location on the timeline interface and a second user input for specifying a second location on the timeline interface, setting an editing interval between the first location and the second location of the timeline interface, receiving a third user input with respect to the editing interval, adjusting at least one of the thickness and length of the editing interval in response to the third user input, and editing playback attributes of the partial sequence based on the adjusted thickness and length of the editing interval.
Abstract:

Abstract:
A mobile device using an e-paper display panel and a method for controlling the same are disclosed, in which the mobile device is switched to a standby mode and a lock mode. The mobile device includes an e-paper display unit configured to display contents; an input signal receiving unit configured to detect an input signal and transmit the detected input signal to a processor; and the processor configured to control the e-paper display unit and the input signal receiving unit, wherein the processor is further configured to switch the mobile device to a first standby mode if a lack of a touch input signal is detected for a predetermined time, wherein the first standby mode is a mode displaying a first image on the e-paper display unit and disabling detecting of a touch input signal for the displayed first image.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of controlling a display device including displaying a digital image, detecting a first control input to rotate the digital image, generating a first tactile feedback in a first part of a touch region and a second tactile feedback in a second part of the touch region when rotation of the digital image begins, changing at least one of the first and second tactile feedbacks according to a first rate if a rotation angle of the digital image is a first angle, and changing at least one of the first and second tactile feedbacks according to a second rate if the rotation angle of the digital image is a second angle. The first rate and the second rate is a rate of the second tactile feedback in relation to the first tactile feedback, and the second rate is greater than the first rate.
Abstract:
A touch input gesture made on a touch sensitive display is described for providing a quick and efficient method for initiating the opening of a text input box. The initiation of opening the text input box following the touch input gesture may be made during the running of a separate application. Further, certain characteristics related to the shape, size and length of the touch input gesture will be referenced to determine certain characteristics of the text input box that is initiated in response to the touch input gesture.
Abstract:
A method for controlling a head mounted display (HMD) includes detecting an external device, wherein the external device displays a content image, displaying a first type augmented reality image associated with the external device, displaying a second type augmented reality image associated with the content image displayed on the external device, changing a display position of the first type augmented reality image according to rotation of the external device, changing a display position of the second type augmented reality image according to rotation of the content image, and if the content image is not rotated, maintaining the display position of the second type augmented reality image even when the external device is rotated. If the external device is not rotated, the display position of the first type augmented reality image may be maintained even when the content image is rotated.
