Abstract: The piston pump has a cylinder housing (1) and a piston movable in the housing. The cylinder housing is formed vacuum-tight (1'). The piston partly consists of a magnetic material and a magnet (4) is arranged in the outer side of the cylinder housing, which serves the positioning of the piston. The magnets arranged in the outer side of the cylinder housing are alterably formed in its position. The magnet is a ring magnet. Inlet lines and outlet lines of the pump are formed partly vacuum-tight.

Abstract: The method involves providing an oscillating body in a pipeline, where the body is activated by a gaseous or fluid medium. The body is connected with a frequency meter, which measures the frequency of the body. The temperature of the medium is determined from the determined frequency by using an evaluation unit, where the frequency meter and the oscillating body are combined in a device. An independent claim is also included for a device for determining a temperature of a gaseous or fluid medium flowing through a pipeline.

Abstract: The method involves determining natural frequency of gas volume that is contained in an inside of a container, by a liquid e.g. liquefied cryogenic gas, level. A liquid volume is computed by subtraction of the gas volume that is contained in the container, from a known container volume. The natural frequency of the gas volume is determined by a short term excitation of the gas volume.
