Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a space cooling and heating device in which a gas injection can be used without damaging a reliability in operation of a compressor even in the case that both cooling and heating operations are being carried out and an indoor and outdoor load is varied. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a discharging pressure sensing means 21 for use in detecting a discharging pressure of a compressor 1, an intermediate pressure sensing means 22 for sensing an intermediate pressure of a gas-liquid separator 14, a cooling or heating mode discriminating means 24 for discriminating either a cooling operation or a heating operation and a set intermediate pressure calculating means 25 for calculating a set intermediate pressure in response to a discharging pressure. In addition, there are provided an intermediate pressure discriminating means 26 for comparing and discriminating a result of calculation with an intermediate pressure, a pressure reducing amount discriminating means 27 for discriminating a pressure reducing amount of a cooling or heating pressure reducing device 15 in response to a result of the discrimination and a pressure reducing device driving means 28 for driving the cooling or heating pressure reducing device 15 in response to the pressure reducing amount.

Further the apparatus comprises a heating check valve 43 and a heating pressure reducer 44 both arranged in parallel with the cooling pressure reducer 38 and the cooling check valve 39, and an injection pipe 36 having an opening/closing valve 35 and provided for communication of the gas-liquid separator 40 with a compressor 1.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a cooling and heating device capable of preventing liquid refrigerant from staying within an indoor device, avoiding as shortening of life of a pump and a lack of high pressure and further capable of performing a normal operation by a method wherein its operation cycle is divided into a heat source side refrigerant cycle and a utilization side refrigerant cycle and an auxiliary pump device positioned between the second auxiliary heat exchanger and the indoor device is driven in the case that a heating operation is effected with a high pumping action and a long piping. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary pump device is arranged between the second auxiliary heat exchanger and an indoor device. Actuation of heating operation is detected by a cooling or heating operating sensing means 15, a heating cycle operation is performed by a device driving means 16. A differential pressure between a high pressure of a heat source side refrigerant cycle and that of a utilization side refrigerant cycle detected by a pressure sensing means 27 is calculated by a differential pressure calculation means 28. A control device 26 is provided such that the auxiliary pump device is driven by an auxiliary pump device driving means 29 until the high pressure of the heat source side refrigerant cycle and the differential pressure exceed their predetermined values.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To effectively start a room heating operation in a short time by providing refrigerant flowrate limiting means, differential pressure sensing means, differential pressure deciding means, room heating starting time user side unit driving means and room heating operation user side unit driving means. CONSTITUTION:After a refrigerant pump 8 is driven by a room heating starting time user side unit driving means 27 at the time of starting a room heating, a refrigerant flowrate limiter 20 is operated to reduce refrigerant circulation at the discharge side of a refrigerant pump 8, and a pressure difference between a blow-off side and a suction side of the pump 8 is increased. The difference is sensed by differential pressure sensing means 28, and is compared with a proving differential pressure of a user side four-way valve 9 to be decided by differential pressure deciding means 29. After the arrival of the difference at the proving differential pressure is decided, the valve 9 is closed by room heating operation user side unit driving means 30 to operate a room heating cycle. Thus, even when a pilot type is employed in the valve 9, a room heating operation can be effectively started in a short time.

CONSTITUTION:The title device is provided with a first auxiliary heat exchanger bypass 15, bypassing the upstream side and the downstream side of a first auxiliary heat exchanger 8, a high-pressure pressure sensor 16, detecting the discharging pressure of a compressor 13, a solenoid valve 17, opened when the detecting pressure of the high-pressure pressure sensor 16 provided in the first auxiliary heat exchanger bypass 15 has exceeded a predetermined value, and a non-return valve 18 for a bypass circuit, which prevents the solenoid valve 17 from the inflow of refrigerant upon heating operation.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a reduction in heating capability caused by an excessive increasing of discharging temperature or a reduction in suction pressure even under an excessive operating state by a method wherein a controlling interval of a controller for an outdoor electric expansion valve is longer than a controlling interval of an inverter controller. CONSTITUTION:During a heating operation, a condensing pressure is detected. When the condensing pressure is higher than a predetermined pressure, a variable capability compressor 2 is instructed from the inverter controller 13 so as to instruct it to decrease an operating frequency and if the pressure is lower, it is instructed to increase. This control is repeated for every one minute. A piping temperature between the indoor device 7 and an outdoor electric expansion valve 5 is detected. If it is higher than a predetermined temperature, an instruction to close by a predetermined degree of opening in respect to the expansion valve 5 from an outdoor electric expansion valve control device 15' and if it is lower, it is instructed to open. This control is repeated for every two minutes. That is, a condensing pressure with a fast responding speed is approached to a set value with a short interval and at the same time a slow responding sub-cooled degree is approached gradually to a set value at a long interval, resulting in that it is possible to prevent over-increasing of discharging temperature under an excessive operation state or a reduction in suction pressure.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To equalize cooling/heating rising performance and cooling/heating capacity of each of a plurality of room units arranged on different floors by providing a refrigerant circulation volume adjusting means between an outdoor side expansion valve and a room side expansion valve of the plurality of room units. CONSTITUTION:Two room units 7a and 14 are connected to an outdoor unit 1, the room unit 7a arranged on an upper floor and the room unit 14 on a lower floor, and a refrigerant circulation volume adjusting means 15 of the room unit 14 is placed between a room side expansion valve 8b and an outdoor side expansion valve 5 and consists of a capillary tube 16 and a check valve 17. During cooling operation, in the room unit 14 on the lower floor, as refrigerant is made to flow by the refrigerant circulation volume adjusting means 15 through the capillary tube 16 having a resistance equal to a pressure dropdown of a height difference of 10m, the volumes of the refrigerant flowing into the room units 7a and 14, though positioned at different height, are the same. During heating operation, as the refrigerant is protected by the refrigerant circulation volume adjusting means 15 from being decreased in the pressure, and therefore no pressure loss occurs. Accordingly, the cooling/heating rising performance and cooling/heating capacity of the room units 7a and 14 can be maintained equally.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent an uncomfortable feeling caused by a cold air feeling when a heating operation is started and cause a dwelling region to approach a set temperature as soon as possible by a method wherein a hot air is distributed by a blown air amount distributing means into a bentilation port, a communication hole arranged in a double-floor and an auxiliary diffuser at an indoor side and a part of the hot air is returned from a recirculation port to a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION:When a heating operation is started, hot air is distributed by a blown air amount distributing means into an auxiliary diffuser 34 opened into a room, a bentilation port 37 in a double-floor and a communication hole 38 at any location, a part of the hot air is returned from a recirculation port 42 to a heat exchanger 27 so as to perform a heat exchanging operation again; thereby the hot air is blown concurrently from an upper part and a lower part. With such an arrangement, it is possible to prevent uncomfortable feeling caused by a cold air feeling when the heating operation is started and at the same time to approach a set temperature as soon as possible.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make cool air naturally flow down toward areas apart from an indoor unit and to realize an ideal temperature distribution in a room that the head is kept cool and the feet is kept warm, by a method wherein a ceiling opening, which connects a ceiling chamber and the inside of the room, is provided on a ceiling board, and a floor opening, which connects a hollow space and the inside of the room, and a floor ventilation hole are provided on the double floor. CONSTITUTION:During heating operation, warm air is blown at an extremely low velocity through a floor ventilating hole 15, which is provided nearby the edge of a double floor 5, and a floor connecting hole 16 which is provided at a desired position, and is sucked into a ceiling opening 32 provided in a ceiling board 2 to develop a warm air circulating flow. During cooling operation, as cool air is blown through the ceiling opening 32 provided in the ceiling board 2, and sucked into the floor ventilating hole 15 and the floor connecting hole 16 provided in the double floor 5 to produce a gravity down flow of cool air, a very uniform temperature distribution is achieved without uncomfortable feeling. In addition, as a space in a double-glazed window is used as a cold or warm air passage, discomfort due to radiation from outside in summer and due to cold radiation and cold draft in winter, and dew formation on the window glass can be prevented, so that a high grade air conditioning can be realized.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To rapidly attain set temperature in a room while improving heating efficiency at the time of heating operation being started by providing a blowing wind quantity distribution means for distributing conditioned air into a lower outlet opened in a room and an outlet opened in a lower space of a double floor, and a draft opening communicated with the room by an end part in the double floor. CONSTITUTION:At the time of heating operation being started, a damper 32 is driven to blow hot wind from a draft opening 37 and a lower outlet 34 so that a living range 24 may reach set temperature rapidly. And, when it reaches the set temperature, the damper 32 is driven to block an air passage at the time of heating operation start to blow the whole hot wind from said draft opening 37 so as to heat the living range 24 with the use of the hot wind from the whole floor. Thereby, heating efficiency is good and uniform temperature distribution can be obtained. In addition, at the time of cooling, cold air is blowed upward from an upper outlet 30 and naturally drops by self-weight after colliding with the ceiling, comfortable and very uniform temperature distribution by the wind can be obtained to realize high quality air conditioning.
