Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the deviation of frost on a cooler of a refrigerator and eliminate any possible chance which may affect preserved foods due to a frost failure which results in non-cooling or dull-cooling and prevent an increase in power consumption resultant from a shortened frost cycle or protect a vegetable compartment from excessive dryness. SOLUTION: A cold storage compartment return passage and a vegetable compartment return passage 34 are provided independently up to a cooler compartment 7 respectively so that a minimum cooling air volume required by each compartment may be defined. The structure of a flow outlet of the vegetable compartment return passage 34 is designed to sandwich the flow outlet of a freezer compartment 5 in the center so that it may be provided on the opposite side to the flow outlet of a cold storage compartment. This construction makes it possible to produce frost uniformly, thereby protecting preserved foods from a bad effect created by defrosting failure or non-cooling or dull cooling and inhibiting an increase in power consumption resultant from an unnecessarily shortened defrosting cycle and protecting the vegetable compartment from excessive dryness.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the beautiful appearance of a kitchen space by a method wherein the mounting structure of the decorative plate for a door of a refrigerator or especially of a refrigerator for a system kitchen is coordinated with cooking furnitures or cupboards in environment. CONSTITUTION:A decorative plate 4 for a door is inserted from the lower side of the door while a cover 11 is attached so as to be drawable from the fore side thereof. Accordingly, the number of fixing screws 7 can be minimized and a structure for covering the screws can be eliminated whereby a structure, in which the structure is simple and not conspicuous, the decorative plate 4 can be easily attached and/or detached, the head of the fixing screws 7 can not be seen from the fore side 7a and scratches can hardly be seen if injured, can be obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent received matters from being adhered to the side surfaces of an inner box due to freezing and facilitate to take the matters out of a case by a method wherein the case is provided with a drainboard, consisting of a bottom surface and two opposed side surfaces and provided with handles at the upper parts of the side surfaces to permit the extraction and development of the same, while the opening of the main body of the freezing case is provided with steps at the inside of the same. CONSTITUTION:A substantially lattice type drainboard 9, consisting of a bottom surface and two opposed side surfaces and made of synthetic resin, is provided with handles 10 at the upper side of the side surfaces thereof. The drainboard is provided in the inner box 4 so as to put received matters 8 on the bottom surface and, therefore, the received matters 8 will never be adhered to the side surfaces of the inner box 4 due to freezing even if the matters 8 are inclined or the like. Even when the matters 8 are frozen and adhered to the other side surfaces of the inner box 4, which are not provided with the drainboard 9, the matters 8 may be taken out of the case easily by holding the handles 10 provided at the upper part of the side surfaces of the drainboard 9. The handles may be held easily by the existence of the steps 1a while the drainboard can be developed after extracting it out of the case, whereby the drainboard may be washed easily.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the stored foodstuff from adhering to the side surface of the inner box due to freezing and facilitate the removal of the foodstuff by providing a plastic drainboard having a bottom and two side members, the bottom of the drainboard being narrower than that of the inner box of the freezer casing. CONSTITUTION:The device consists of a freezer cabinet 1 having an open top, a lid 2 which covers the opening and a plastic drainboard 9 having two side members. The bottom of said drainboard 9 is made narrower than that of the inner box of the freezer casing 1. When the foodstuff 8 is placed on the bottom of the drainboard 9, it will not adhere by freezing to the side surface of the inner box 4 even if it leans thereto. Further, because the bottom of the drainboard 9 is narrower than that of the inner box 4, it is easy to remove the foodstuff 8. Moreover, even when the foodstuff 8 adheres to the other side surface of the inner box 4 which is not covered by the drainboard 9, the foodstuff 8 can easily be removed by lifting the drainboard 9 by its side members.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent formation of dew on the surface of a decorative plate through simple structure and to perform reliable mounting work by a method wherein a screw hole for mounting the decorative plate is formed in the peripheral edge part of a door body, and the head of a screw is covered with a gasket. CONSTITUTION:A through-hole 17 is formed in a body 14, and the body 14 and a decorative plate 15 are secured to each other by means of a screw 18. The screw 18 is mounted from the inner side of a chamber, and a head part 19 of the screw is covered with a gasket 16. When a refrigerator employing this heat insulating door is installed at a system kitchen, since the surface material and the color tone of the decorative plate 15 of a door is the same in terms of appearance, matched integral appearance is provided. With regard to heat insulating performance, it is ensure by means of a heat insulating material 7 with which the door body 14 is filled. Since, in mounting of the decorative plate 15 to the door body 14, a screw 18 for mounting is covered with the rear of the gasket 16, a work can be performed without needing complicated structure needed as in a conventional example. This constitution enables provision of a low cost heat insulating door.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the freezing of raw garbage or garbage bags to a garbage receiving vessel and facilitate the withdrawal of the received garbage to the outside of a case by providing the garbage receiving vessel with a drainboard, made of synthetic resin and consisting of a bottom surface and two side surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A door 12 is opened when raw garbage 7, produced in a restaurant, the kitchen of general homes and the like, is received into a garbage receiving case. A garbage receiving vessel 14 is attached to the inside of the door 12 and the opening of the vessel is positioned at the upper surface of the vessel whereby the garbage may be received easily and the case is sanitary since the splash of wet raw garbage 7 will never be adhered to the inside wall of the case 13. On the other hand, the inside of the case 13 is kept at 0 deg.C or less by a refrigerating machine 17 whereby the decay of the raw garbage is not advanced while the garbage 7 is received in the case 13 and moisture in the garbage is frozen whereby liquid will never flows out of the case. When the door 12 is opened, the garbage receiving vessel 14 and the raw garbage 7 are exposed to atmosphere having a normal temperature and therefore, moisture in the atmosphere is dewed by a temperature difference and the raw garbage 7 is frozen and adhered to the garbage receiving vessel 14, however, the freezing and adhesion of the raw garbage 7 may be prevented by a drainboard 16. Accordingly, the withdrawal of the raw garbage 7 may be facilitated.

CONSTITUTION:A garbage storage vessel 13 is mounted to a door 11 in its inside of a garbage storehouse cooled in its inside to 0 deg.C or less, and garbage 7 is stored in the garbage storage vessel 13 with its upper surface forming an opening. An upper surface part in the storehouse provides a cover 14 which seals an opening part of the garbage storage vessel 13, when the door is closed, and has a weight 13b in the rear part with the central part serving as a supporting point 13a. As the result, water, accumulated in an upper part of the cover 14, is introduced to a drain hole 15 in the bottom surface in the storehouse, while no smell is emitted to the outside of the storehouse, and it is sanitary further eliminating an uncomfortable feeling. And the garbage 7, in case of its storage in the garbage storage vessel 13 when the door is opened, can be stored with no necessity for removing the cover 14.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To contrive the improvement of efficiency of a refrigerator preventing a bad smell from diffusing by removably mounting a garbage storage vessel to the inside of a house and performing defrosting of the refrigerator when the vessel is removed for the fixed time or more, in case of the garbage storage house with the refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:A house normally holds its inside 4 to a fixed temperature region controlling a refrigerator 5 by a thermostat 8. A door is opened, when a vessel 7 is taken out, a switch 10 operates outputting a signal to a control part 11. By this signal, the controller 11 performs defrosting operation of the refrigerator 5 in case of removing the garbage storage vessel 7 for not less than the fixed time. Here because no garbage is present in the inside 4 of the house, no trouble is generated by a temperature rise due to the defrosting. In this way, the improvement of efficiency of the refrigerator is contrived preventing a bad smell.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To contrive, in a wet garbage storing unit equipped with a freezer, to prevent decomposition and soiling of the interior of a chamber by providing, on the inner side of a door, a container formed with an upper opening and insulator and, as a result, controlling the interior of the chamber at a predetermined temperature or below. CONSTITUTION:The interior of a chamber 12 is always kept at a temperature of 0 deg.C or below by means of a freezer 16. When a door 11 is drawn out, a storage container 13 is also drawn outside to position where the opening for charging into the storage container 13 at a place convenient for charging work. The above-mentioned mechanism allows charging of wet garbage without scattering the water thereof as well as prevention of outflow of the water, progress of decomposition and diffusion of malodor, since the storage container is kept cold by means of the insulator 15. Thereby malodor is prevented and the storage can be effected hygienically.
