    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use hot storage heat for a heating operation in a cold heat storage type air conditioner. SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 10 for cold heat storage is arranged in heat storage tanks 1 and 11 for storing heat storage media capable of storing cold and heat. One end of the heat exchanger 10 for the cold heat storage is connected to liquid refrigerant piping 16 connected to an interior through a second flow control valve 15. A third flow control valve 17 is provided in the liquid refrigerant piping 16 in the side nearer to an indoor heat exchanger 7 than to the connecting point. The other end is connected to gas refrigerant piping 19 through a first opening and closing valve 18 and connected to the liquid refrigerant piping 16 through a fourth flow control valve 20. A circuit is provided between the liquid refrigerant piping 16 of an outdoor heat exchanger 3 and the inlet piping of a compressor 1 through a first flow control valve 22 so that the stored heat can be used for the heating operation.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To regulate quantities of oil for plural low pressure shell type compressors to a proper ones. SOLUTION: A variable speed side oil equalizing branch pipe 4 having one end in communication with the vicinity of the standard oil level of a variable speed compressor 1 and another end in communication with an oil equalizing pipe 3 is provided, a constant speed side oil equalizing branch pipe 5 having one end in communication with the vicinity of the standard oil level of a constant speed compressor 2 and another end in communication with the oil equalizing pipe 3 is provided, and a variable speed side two-way valve 6 is provided in the middle of the variable speed side oil equalizing branch pipe 4. Thereby, shortage of oil in each compressor is prevented by closing the variable speed side two-way valve 6 during cooling or heating operation, and opening it during oil equalizing operation.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control an oil amount of a compressor to a suitable amount even in the case of different capacities of two compressors of a low pressure shell type. SOLUTION: The oil equalizing system for plural compressors communicates at one end with the vicinity of a standard oil level of a shell of a low capacity side compressor 2 and at the other end with high capacity side suction control tube piping. The system comprises an oil equalizing bypass 5 having a two-way valve 6 on the way of both the ends. The system stops the compressor 2 for a predetermined period when an integrated time of the two compressors arrives at an upper limit integrated time, and opens the valve 6 to prevent an oil amount insufficiency of the compressors.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a life from decreasing due to the gas inclusion of a liquid refrigerant conveyance pump by stably securing the amount of circulation of refrigerant for coping with the increased capacity of an indoor machine in an air-conditioner with a secondary side refrigeration cycle using a refrigerant conveyance device. SOLUTION: A refrigerant-carrying device 1b of a secondary side refrigeration cycle 5b is composed of a plurality of amount-of-refrigerant adjustment tanks 3a-3d being connected in parallel, a plurality of liquid refrigerant conveyance pumps 2e-2h that are connected in parallel corresponding to the amount-of- refrigerant adjustment tanks 3a-3d where the pressure-feeding direction of the refrigerant is set to a single direction, and a header 20 that is connected between the liquid refrigerant conveyance pumps 2e-2h and the amount-of-refrigerant adjustment tanks 3a-3d, a four-way valve 21 is connected between the refrigerant conveyance device 1b and indoor machines 7a and 7b, thus securing the amount of circulation of refrigerant corresponding to the increased capacity of the indoor machines and preventing gas inclusion for any operation of the liquid refrigerant conveyance pump corresponding to the operation condition of a plurality of indoor machines in each operation of cooling and heating.
