Abstract:
The present invention relates to a tooth cleaning bristle, which is configured as a monofilament and has a outer surface having a contour that is structured preferably in the shape of a longitudinal flute and that has projections and depressions, alternating in the peripheral direction. The invention further relates to a toothbrush head having a bristle holder to which at least one such tooth cleaning bristle is fastened, and finally to a preferably electric toothbrush having such a toothbrush head.
Abstract:
A device and a method for transmitting an activation decision for an actuator system from a first to at least one second control unit is provided, the second control unit activating the actuator system as a function of at least two messages from the first control unit.
Abstract:
A method and device position a deflectable material basket at a charging opening of a furnace. The method and device reliably prevent a swinging or oscillating movement of the deflectable material basket that is moved by a crane, when approaching the furnace and when discharging the material.
Abstract:
An electric toothbrush is provided, the electric toothbrush having a housing, with a drive that is elastically mounted on the housing by means of a spring device and can be moved in an oscillatory fashion in at least one plane of motion, and with a transmission element that is connected to the drive and serves for transmitting the driving motion to a brush head.
Abstract:
A method and a device for activating a personal protection arrangement in the event of a rollover are provided, according to which, initially, at least one first driving dynamic variable is ascertained and then, based on this first driving dynamic variable, a second driving dynamic variable is determined, in order to activate the personal protection arrangement as a function of these two driving dynamic variables.
Abstract:
The invention is directed to a bristle for a toothbrush, said bristle being comprised of a plastic monofilament, with the preferably cloverleaf-shaped bristle body having several longitudinal ribs arranged in star shape and projecting laterally from a core section of the bristle body. The invention is also directed to a brush head for an electric toothbrush having at least one bristle tuft with at least one such bristle as well as to an electric toothbrush having such a brush head. According to the invention, the bristle of the type initially referred to is configured to be self-fanning in such a manner that the cleaning forces acting on the bristles during normal brushing cause the bristle to split open at its free end. As a result, the need to use complex splitting methods and corresponding splitting machines in the manufacture of the toothbrush can be obviated.
Abstract:
A body care appliance for personal use is disclosed. The body care appliance includes a toothbrush; a display device and a sensing device. The display device displays interactive representations that can be controlled interactively from the toothbrush by means of a control device. The sensing device senses at least one operating parameter relating to the toothbrush, wherein the sensing device has position sensing means for sensing the relative position of the toothbrush to the body part of the appliance user. The representations can be controlled by means of the control device depending on the sensed relative position
Abstract:
A brush head for an electric toothbrush is disclosed. The brush head includes a bristle support having mounting means for the movable mounting of the bristle support and a plurality of bristle tufts arranged on the bristle support in at least one outer ring and one middle ring, the middle ring being nested within the outer ring and having a central area. The outer ring includes outer bristle tufts having an elongated tuft cross-section, which outer bristle tufts are mounted on opposing sides of the outer ring. The middle ring includes at least two middle bristle tufts that each have a cross-section that is smaller than the cross-section of the outer bristle tufts and a central area including at least one bristled section that consists of two center bristle tufts having a cross-section larger than the cross-section of the middle bristle tufts. The center bristle tufts each having an elongated, substantially kidney-shaped form that complement each other so that the bristled section of the central area has an approximately circular, oval or elliptical structure.
Abstract:
An apparatus for detecting a vehicle rollover includes a sensor suite for sensing vehicle dynamics data, the sensor suite being connected to a processor which is configured in such a way that the processor detects a vehicle rollover as a function of the vehicle dynamics data and the rollover sensor suite. The processor has means for dividing an operating state of the vehicle into chronologically successive phases. In particular, the processor has means for determining, for each phase, a float angle and a transverse vehicle velocity from the vehicle dynamics data; the float angle and the transverse vehicle velocity being used, together with the data from the rollover sensor suite, for detection of the vehicle rollover.
Abstract:
A device and a method for triggering passenger protection systems, the passenger protection systems being triggered as a function of a rollover process. A signal which characterizes a road grip coefficient (coefficient of friction) is received via an interface. An evaluation circuit is provided which triggers the passenger protection systems as a function of the signal and a stability factor, the evaluation circuit determining the stability factor as a function of at least one kinematic variable.
