Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the secondary echo removing ability in a radar device. CONSTITUTION:The input to a phase code circuit 1 is coded under the control of an optimum code control circuit 3 so that the code polarity may be reversed for each hit in a phase code driving circuit 2. This coded signal is converted into the intermediate frequency by a frequency converter 4 and a local oscillator 5, and in addition, converted into the micro-wave by a frequency converter 6 and a local oscillator 7, and emitted from an antenna 10 through a power amplifier 8 and a transmission/reception switch 9. The received signal is supplied to a matched filter 12 through an amplifier 11 and frequency converters 6a, 4a, and the correlated output for the transmitted signal is obtained. The characteristics of the matched filter 12 are controlled by a driving circuit 13. For the secondary echo with different coding form to be received by the matched filter 12, the pulse compression by the correlation is not realized, and the removing property of the secondary echo is improved.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To effectively incorporate a merit of a switching regulator to reduce the voltage variation of an output pulse voltage by separating a charging circuit and a discharging circuit in the line type modulation function. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a switching regulator means and a line type modulating means and consists of a switcher 1, a switcher driving circuit 2, a control circuit 3, a comparator 4, a high frequency pulse transformer 5, a rectifying diode 6, a voltage divider 7, a main switcher 8, a pulse forming circuit 9, a pulse transformer 10, and a load 11. The charging circuit and the discharging circuit are separated in the line type modulating means to completely eliminate the influence of the charging operation which appears in an output pulse. Consequently, the switching regulator part can be operated with a desired high frequency. Thus, the switching regulator part is miniaturized, and the response speed of the operation to stabilize the charging voltage of the pulse forming circuit is increased.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform a highly accurate monitoring by displaying a magnified expected arbitrary bearing range and displaying reduced the other bearing range. CONSTITUTION:An arbitrary display magnification ratio K(>1) and a bearing angle range theta1-theta2 desired to be magnified are inputted to a computer 7 is advance. Based on inputs thus inputted, a calculator 71 calculates a reduction ratio (k) outside the range. A calculator 72 calculates display angles corresponding to angles in a real space in accordance with (k), K and the bearing angle range theta1-theta2 to feed the display angles to a RAM 8. An operation process is executed off line. The contact of a changeover device 9 is connected to the side of a counter 1 by a calculation termination signal, a counter output is fed to the RAM 8 and the output of the RAM 8 is fed to a ROM 2 to produce sweep saw-tooth-like waves 5a and 6a. This structure enables the inside of the magnified specific range to be monitored and controlled with a high accuracy and no target outside the range is missed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate an abnormal increase in transmitted electric power crest value by providing means which stops the output of a transmitted signal completely or limits the transmitted signal to only a transmitted signal of single frequency and outputs it when pulse intervals become closer to each other exceeding a permissible value. CONSTITUTION:A pulse interval detecting circuit 13 receives the input of a power monitor, i.e. the reduced level of time-series transmitted pulses of transmitted signals A and B outputted by a diplexer 7. When the circuit 13 detects pulse intervals of the signals A and B coming closer to each other exceeding the permissible value, the circuit 13 outputs a transmission inhibiting signal to a transmission trigger inhibition gate generating circuit 14. The circuit 14 when receiving the transmission inhibiting signal generates a transmission trigger inhibition gate signal and supplies it to synchronizers 5 and 6. The transmission trigger inhibiting gate signal inhibits the synchronizers 5 and 6 from generating transmission triggers A and B, which are therefore inhibited from being generated by transmitters 1 and 2, thereby evading an abnormal increase in transmitted power crest value due to the overlapping of two transmitted pulse signals.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of the voltage higher than the absolute max. rated voltage when a high speed discharge protector is operated, by connecting one power source system discharge loop to another power source system through a diode. CONSTITUTION:A high speed discharge protector is composed of a discharge tube 11, current limiting resistors 17-20, diode 23, current detecting circuit 21 and a trigger drive 22. The resistors 19, 20 are connected in series to a capacitor 12 for the purpose of limiing the arcing current occurring between a cathode and a body, while the resistors 17, 18 are connected in series to a capacitor 15 for the purpose of limiting the arcing current occurring between a collector and the body. The discharge tube 12, capacitor 12 and the resistor 20 will constitute one loop while the discharge tube 11, resistors 18, 20, capacitor 15 and the diode 23 will constitute another loop.
