Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software update system for updating software more securely by enhancing reliability to software update processing in an apparatus. SOLUTION: An update server 200 obtains from the apparatus 100 a verification result relating to alteration of each update module included in a protection control module 120 and an update module group 130. The update server 200 determines a processing sequence of the apparatus 100 in accordance with an obtained verification apparatus. Concretely, when it is determined that both the protection control module 120 and the update module are improper, the update server 200 transmits an instruction to update the improper protection control module 120 to the apparatus 100 giving priority to the invalidation of the improper update module. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health care system capable of suppressing an amount of processing for encrypting data, regardless of the number of services which is utilized by a user. SOLUTION: The key management server 16 constituting the health care system 1 comprises a decryption key generating section 162 for generating a decryption key corresponding to an encryption key from first identification information identifying a measuring apparatus; and a control section in which, when a request for transmitting the decryption key is received from service providing servers 17a-17c, together with the first identification information, second identification information and third identification information, the decryption key is transmitted to the service providing servers 17a-17c, when received third identification information agrees with the fourth identification information stored in a storage section and the received second identification information agrees with the fifth identification information stored in the storage section. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a utilizing apparatus, a server device and a key using system by which reliable deletion of an old key in the utilizing apparatus can be controlled without using a secure clock as in a conventional way and encryption communication can be established regardless of key renewal in a server to be connected. SOLUTION: In the key using system 1, one or more server devices 5-1 to 5-n provide apparatuses holding equipment keys corresponding to server keys with services. An updating apparatus 2 distributes server keys and new equipment keys for updating to the server devices and a key using apparatus 3. A CRL distributing apparatus 4 distributes CRL indicating server devices whose key updating is completed to the key using apparatus 3. The key using apparatus 3 holds both of the old equipment key and the new equipment key and determines whether key updating is completed for the server devices which are objects of monitoring by using the CRL.
