Abstract: Systems and methods configured to provide size matching of downlink control information (DCI) formats to restrict a number of DCI format sizes for a set of DCI formats for concurrent use are described, in accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, size matching at least two DCI formats of a set of DCI formats to restrict a number of DCI format sizes for the set of DCI formats for concurrent use is implemented. Restrictions with respect to the number of DCI format sizes for the set of DCI formats may correspond both to a first number of DCI sizes parameter based on a total number of DCI format sizes per wireless communication slot, and to a second number of DCI sizes parameter based on a total number of DCI format sizes for DCI formats used to carry DCI payload encoded using an identifier per wireless communication slot.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure describe an indication channel for wireless communications that indicates whether an ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC) transmission is present in an enhanced mobile broad band (eMBB) slot. A user equipment (UE) may receive an indication channel identifying one or more resources defined by time domain parts and frequency domain parts that have been punctured by an Ultra-Reliable Low latency Communication (URLLC) transmission. The number of frequency domain parts may be greater than or equal to two. The UE may determine a number of resource block groups (RBGs) in an active band width part (BWP) of the UE. The UE may map the RBGs in the BWP among each of a number of sub-bands equal to the number of frequency domain parts based on a pre-defined rule.

The UE may implement a reference signal preemption response scheme that is selected based at least in part on the resources of the one or more reference signals being preempted.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a first hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) payload for a first component carrier (CC) set based at least in part on a first downlink assignment index (DAI). The UE may determine a second HARQ-ACK payload for a second CC set based at least in part on a second DAI. The UE may transmit the first HARQ-ACK payload for the first CC set and the second HARQ-ACK payload for the second CC set. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may receive downlink control information corresponding to a transmission of a transport block over a plurality of transmission time intervals (TTIs). The wireless device may identify a redundancy version sequence for the transport block. The redundancy version may be a pre-defined sequence or may be configured by higher layer signaling based on sequence criterion. The wireless device may transmit or receive a plurality of redundancy versions of the transport block in the plurality of TTIs based at least in part on the redundancy version sequence. In some examples, the plurality of redundancy versions may be determined based at least in part on a starting redundancy version identified by another wireless device.

In another example, the method includes establishing a connection with a base station using a component carrier (CC), the CC having a plurality of bandwidth parts (BWPs), receiving signaling that indicates an SPS configuration or other types of pre-configured resources associated with at least a first BWP of the plurality of BWPs and transmitting or receiving using at least the first BWP according to the SPS configuration or other types of pre-configured resources associated with at least the first BWP.

A method may include receiving, from a base station and while being outside of a radio resource control (RRC) connected state, an indication of a length of downlink symbols used to transmit a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) that carries broadcast information, and decoding the PDSCH based on the indication. Another method may include receiving, from a base station, a PDSCH that carries broadcast information over a plurality of downlink symbols and while being outside of an RRC connected state, perform a first blind decoding of the PDSCH over a first set of the plurality of downlink symbols, and perform a second blind decoding of the PDSCH during a second set of the plurality of downlink symbols, the second set being different in length than the first set.
