PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide foamable composite resin particles for long-term preservation, which are used in an ordinary closed container (bag-shaped container) so as to be transported in a large amount. SOLUTION: The foamable composite resin particles for long-term preservation comprises at least a composite resin of a polyolefin-based resin and a polystyrene-based resin, water in an amount of 500-5,000 ppm contained in the composite resin and 7.5-11.0 wt.% of pentane. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam molded body excellent in crack resistance; and to provide a foamable styrene-modified polyolefin-based resin particle excellent in retainability of a foaming agent and capable of maintaining high foamability over a long period of time. SOLUTION: This foamable styrene-modified polyolefin-based resin particle contains 100 pts.wt. of polyolefin-based resin, 120 to 560 pts.wt. of polystyrene-based resin, and the foaming agent. The foamable styrene-modified polyolefin-based resin particle is a foamable resin particle with which a pre-foamed particle can be formed with a value A/B being 2 to 6 wherein the value is obtained by dividing the average air bubble diameter A of bubbles contacting the skin layer of the pre-foamed particle by the average air bubble diameter B of bubbles passing through the point of a half of the radius of the pre-foamed particle when the pre-foamed particle obtained by pre-foaming the foamable styrene-modified polyolefin-based resin particle with 50 to 60 times in bulkiness is imaged by a scanning electron microscope at the section of a cut divided into two portions from the surface of the pre-foamed particle to the center. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide expandable resin particles of a styrene-modified linear low density polyethylene that can give a foamed molded body that improves its rigidity, while retaining the excellent impact resistance, known as an excellent property of polyethylene resin, in addition, shows excellent dimension stability, without crosslinking polyethylene chains. SOLUTION: The expandable resin particles of the styrene-modified linear low density polyethylene comprises a volatile blowing agent and a base resin, the base resin contains more than 50 to 1,000 pts.wt. of a polystyrene-based resin component to 100 pts.wt. of a non-crosslinked linear low density polyethylene-based resin component, wherein the base resin contains less than 2 wt.% of a gel component comprising a graft polymer of the polystyrene-based resin component and the low density polyethylene-based resin component wherein when a foamed molded body having a density of 33 kg/cm 3 is formed, the foamed molded body has a falling ball impact value of ≥60 cm. SOLUTION: The olefin modified polystyrene-based pre-expansion particle comprises a polystyrene-based pre-expansion particle modified by polyolefin-based resin, and a styrene-based monomer is used for forming the polystyrene-based resin in a range of 100-1,000 pts.wt. to a 100 pts.wt. polyolefin-based resin, and the particle has a bulk density of 0.012-0.20 g/cm 3 and an infrared absorption spectrum obtained by infrared spectroscopic analysis of a surface of the particle using ATR-method shows that a ratio of absorbance at 698 cm -1 and 2,850 cm -1 (D 698 /D 2850 ) is within the range of 0.1-2.5. SOLUTION: The wet manufacturing method for the expandable composite resin particles comprises a step of adding pentane as an expanding agent to composite resin particles comprising a polyolefin resin and a polystyrene resin at a temperature within the range of (T+10)°C to (T+40)°C, T(°C) being the boiling point of pentane, in an aqueous medium to impregnate the resin particles with 7.5-11.0 wt.% of pentane, and a step of freezing the pentane-impregnated composite resin particles taken out of the aqueous medium. SOLUTION: Expandable resin particles of a styrene-modified straight-chain low-density polyethylene-based resin comprise a base resin and a volatile blowing agent. The base resin contains more than 300 pts.wt. and not larger than 1,000 pts.wt. of a styrene-based resin component relative to 100 pts.wt. of a non-crosslinked straight-chain low-density polyethylene-based resin component. The base resin contains 2-40 wt.% of a gel component comprising a graft copolymer of the low-density polyethylene-based resin component and the styrene-based resin component. SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing a foamed molding having the void, the foamed molding having 5-50% porosity is obtained by foaming a styrene modified polyolefin based resin pre-expanded particle containing 100-1,000 pts.wt. styrene based resin component to 100 pts.wt. polyolefin resin component having 0.012-0.20 g/cm 3 bulk density, the ratio (D 698 /D 2850 ) of 0,1-2.5 in the absorbance in 698 cm -1 and the absorbance in 2,850 cm -1 obtained by infrared absorption spectrum of the particle surface measured by ART process infrared spectroscopic analysis and containing 51-90 wt.% polyolefin in the surface of the particle.
