Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the picture jiggle discrimination device capable of surely discriminating whether or not a detected motion vector results from a jiggle. CONSTITUTION:One pattern is divided into plural macro blocks in a form in which macro blocks not adjacent to each other are caused, a field difference absolute value detected by a field difference detection section 11 is integrated by a correlation integrated value table generating section 14 to form a correlation integration table for each macro block and a motion vector estimate section 18 estimates a motion vector. A jiggle discrimination section 19 compares an integrated value of a coordinate corresponding to the representative point picture element with an integrated value of a peripheral coordinate as to a correlation integrated value table for each macro block and discriminates it that the motion vector results from a jiggle when the comparison indicates the value not to be a minimum value.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To correct the camera jiggle with high accuracy by detecting the motion vectors of images for each block based on the image data on the key point picture element and producing a correction signal after deciding surely a fact that the movement vectors are caused by the camera jiggle. CONSTITUTION:A camera jiggle deciding circuit 25 decides that the motion vector of an image detected by a motion vector detection part 10 is caused by the camera jiggle of the image if the frequency value of the coordinates corresponding to the preceding motion vector is smaller than a prescribed level in regard of a frequency distribution table produced by a frequency distribution table production circuit 24. If the relevant frequency value is larger than the prescribed level, the circuit 25 decides that the motion vector is not caused by the camera jiggle. When the decision output showing a fact that the motion vector is caused by the camera jiggle is supplied to a correction value generating part 30, the camera jiggle correction signal corresponding to the camera jiggle vector is produced and supplied to a correction part 40. Thus the video data undergone the correction of camera jiggle are outputted through a signal output terminal.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the camera shake judging device for an image so as to surely judge whether the motion vector of the image is caused by camera shake or not. CONSTITUTION:A condition judging circuit 43 judges a picture element for which the absolute value of difference between the image data of respective picture elements in the block of a current frame and the image data of a representative point picture element in the block of the preceding frame read out of a representative point memory 41 satisfies a prescribed condition, and a frequency distribution table forming circuit 44 forms a frequency distribution table corresponding to the judged result. The number of coordinates having frequency values larger than the prescribed value is calculated near a coordinate designated by the motion vector of the image concerning the frequency distribution table and when the calculated value is smaller than the prescribed value, a camera shake vector judging circuit 46 judges that the motion vector is caused by camera shake.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a motion vector with high accuracy even when a moving object exists in an image and to perform high performance vibrations correction of an image. SOLUTION: A field difference detecting part 11 and a macro vector detecting part 12 divide one image into a plurality of macro blocks in the form of generating macro blocks that do not adjoin each other, and a motion vector is detected in each macro block. When almost same motion vectors are detected in at least two macro blocks that do not adjoin each other, an independent/quasi- independent vector deciding part 15 detects the whole motion vectors of the image with the macro blocks as effective macro blocks, and when the whole motion vectors are not detected, a correcting part 30 corrects the vibrations of images constituting the image on the basis of the whole motion vectors of the image outputted from a hand shaking vector deciding part 16 on the basis of the time correlation between the position information of macro blocks having the same motion vector on the present image and the position information of the effective macro blocks of the preceding image.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce deterioration in decoded picture data by discriminating the transmission based on significance information and decreasing a threshold level when number of transmitted picture data is less than a specified number. CONSTITUTION:Data obtained by an interpolation prediction circuit 6 through prediction are fed to a prediction error detection circuit 7, from which prediction error data. The data are multiplied with coefficient data from a coefficient generating circuit 8 at a multiplier circuit 9 and the product is written in a frequency distribution memory of a control code generating circuit 10, from which a frequency distribution table is generated and a threshold level is generated based on the table. A control code generated from the circuit 10 is given to a control circuit 1, from which a data output control code is given to an input output circuit 3. The frequency distribution table in which data representing transmission/non-transmission of each of picture element data are listed is formed in a memory in the circuit 10, a threshold level is obtained based on the distribution table, and sampling processing is applied to the data to decide transmission/non-transmission of picture element data read from the memory 5. Thus, lot of picture element data are sent in response to the transmission picture element number and then the transmission efficiency is improved and the deterioration in the decoded picture is minimized.

Therefore, the blocking processing corresponding to an encoding used by a block encoding circuit 55 is performed by a locking circuit 54, and a block decoding and a block resolution corresponding to the block encoding used by the circuit 55 are performed by a block decoding circuit 65 and a block resolving circuit 66. Thus, the compressed data are used as the digital data for dubbing of a digital VTR, so that the transmission rate can be reduced, and an interface or a cable can be simplified.

CONSTITUTION:A field difference detection part 11, a correlative integrated value table generation part 12, and a macrovector detection part 15 detect motion vectors by macrovectors obtained by dividing one screen into plural parts so that the macrovectors which do not adjoin to each other are generated. Then an effective vector decision part 16 and a vector determination part 17 regards the minimum value coordinate of each macrovector in an integrated value table as a hand shake vector candidate to detect the same motion vectors in at least two macrovectors at spatially isolated positions, and outputs the motion vectors as hand shake vectors.
