    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the insulation between primary and secondary simply and securely with desired control characteristics by variably controlling the inductance of an insulating transformer constituting an oscillator circuit by the use of saturable characteristics. CONSTITUTION:The title apparatus is equipped with control circuits 61, 63 for using saturable characteristics on the basis of the secondary output VOUT of a switching transformer 10 and for variably controlling the inductance L of an insulating transformer 62, oscillator circuits 62, 70, 71, 73, 74, 76 capable of varying an oscillation frequency according to the inductance L of said insulating transformer 62 and driver circuits 2-7, 57, 80 for driving said switching transformer 10 on the basis of the output signal SOSC1 of said oscillator circuits 62, 70, 71, 73, 74, 76. Therefore, when said inductance L is variably controlled, said saturable characteristics can be selected to be desired characteristics. Thus, it is possible to perform the insulation between primary and secondary simply to obtain desired control characteristics.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the efficiency of a switching power supply unit by performing rectifying operation efficiently without using an additional circuit, especially by supplying a rectified control voltage which is not delayed to the switching operation, thereby increasing the distribution angle of rectified voltage. SOLUTION: In this switching power supply unit, when MOS transistors Q1, Q2 are alternately turned on, resonance current flow through a primary winding L1 of a transformer, and an AC power is transferred to the secondary side. A gate voltage is applied to an alternating signal generated at a secondary winding L2 so that MOS transistors Q3, Q4 have continuity respectively, while its electrode is positive, and rectified currents id3, id4 flow into a capacitor C0 for full-wave rectification. Since this switching power supply unit is formed such that a control signal for synchronous control is supplied from a signal source for controlling the switching elements Q1, Q2 via transformers Ta, Tb, switching timing and the opening and closing timing of a synchronous rectifying element can be made to match exactly by the use of a simple circuit.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable obtaining a stable secondary output by forming oscillator circuits from LC type oscillator circuits and by variably controlling the capacitive component of said oscillator circuits on the basis of the secondary output of a switching transformer to control the frequency of an output signal. CONSTITUTION:The title apparatus forms a switching regulator circuit 1 as a whole, in which a commercial power supply is full-wave rectified by a diode block 2 and thereafter smoothed by a smoothing capacitor 3. Oscillator circuits 25, 26, 28-31, 33 are constituted by LC type oscillator circuits, and the capacitive component 25 of said oscillator circuits 25, 26, 28-31, 33 is variably controlled on the basis of the secondary output VOUT of a switching transformer 10 to control the frequency of an output signal SOSC. Thus, even if the frequency of said output signal SOSC is made higher, it is possible to obtain a stable secondary output VOUT by a simple constitution.

Window sections 12 and 13 with respective rectangular plane shapes are formed between leg sections 6, 8 and 9, 11 and the central leg sections 7, 10. Besides, coils 14 and 15 with specified numbers of turns are wound respectively at the both side leg sections 6, 8 and 9, 11 through the window sections 12 and 13. In addition, a gap (g) is formed at the remaining leg sections, that is, at the facing section of the central leg sections 7 and 10. This way makes it possible for the inductor to work effectively on both noises of common mode and normal mode.
