    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the moldability of an inner resin layer and more particularly a guide block supporting part by extending this inner resin layer up to the bulging part of the trapezoidal shape of an outer resin layer to form the guide block supporting part and supporting a guide block by this guide block supporting part with the cassette halves having a two-layered structure. CONSTITUTION:The cassette half 1 is constituted of upper and lower cassette halves 2, 3. The cassette halves 2, 3 are made into the two-layered structure composed of the inner resin layer 4 and the outer resin layer 5. The outer resin layer 5 is provided with the trapezoidal bulging part 6. The inner resin layer 6 is provided with the guide block supporting part 7 intruding into the trapezoidal bulging part 6 described above. The guide block supporting part 7 consists of a guide block superposing part 8 where the guide block 107 is superposed and a guide block non-superposing part 9 which exists on the inner side of this guide block superposing part 8. This guide block non-superposing part 9 is formed thicker than the guide block superposing part 8.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure the protection of transferred patterns and the like by protective layers by providing a plurality of protective layers on a transfer film between a base film and a printing layer forming patterns and the like. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal transfer film 32, two protective layers 34, 35 are provided on a base film 33 of polyethylene. An ink layer 36 is formed under the protective layers 34, 35, and an adhesive layer 37 is formed under the ink layer 36. In the transfer, an upper half 11 is disposed on a base 40, and the thermal transfer film 32 payed out from a roll is led onto the half 11 to be correctly positioned. Then, a transfer pad 42 is lowered, and the thermal transfer film 32 is heated. In this manner, the thermal transfer film 32 is bonded on a main surface 28 of a cassette casing 10. After the adhesion, the base film 33 is released, whereby the printing layer 36 is transferred to the main surface 28 of the cassette casing 10 to form a pattern. By providing the two protective layers 34, 35, reliability is improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To transfer a pattern to a material to be transferred with a high positional precision by providing a step on the surface of the material to be transferred to prescribe the end part of the pattern. CONSTITUTION:A step 5 is provided on the surface of a cassette half 1, to which the pattern should be transferred by a heat transfer system, in a position A desired as the end part of the pattern to be transferred, and that is, a pattern transfer face and a non-transfer face are formed on the higher face and the lower face respectively with the step 5 as the boundary. Consequently, a recessed part is generated in a part, which faces the higher face of the cassette half 1, on a transfer roll by a pressure, that is, the pressure of the transfer roll 2 is sufficiently applied to the higher face of the cassette half 1 but is scarecely applied to the lower face. Thus, a pattern 4 on a transfer film 3 is transferred to only the higher face of the cassette half 1 with the step 5 as boundary but is not transferred to the lower face at all. Thus, the end pat of the pattern is distinctly prescribed in the accurate position.

In such a case, the cassette halves 2 are heated at a high temp. before the assembly of the case after the thermal transfer printing, by which the diminishing of the temp. difference between the printing surface 9 of the object to be transferred of the synthetic resin and the transfer object by high-temp. heating is made possible and, therefore, the residual stresses of the upper and lower cassette halves 2 at the time of transfer are decreased and the occurrence of fine crazing is prevented.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lighten a load at the time of tape running operation and to reduce the power consumption of a motor by constituting a tape cassette without arranging a fixed guide pin coming into contact with the base surface side of the tape between a hub and a rotary guide roller of the tape cassette inside. SOLUTION: A pair of left/right hubs 7 wound with the tape 6 is provided in a cassette casing 1, and the rotary guide rollers 10 for guiding the running direction of the tape 6 are provided left and right in the course of the tape running route between the left and right hubs 7. The fixed guide pins bringing in contact with the base surface side of tape are not prepared between the hubs 7 and the rotary guide rollers 10. The load at the time of tape running operation is thereby lightened, and a tape take-up torque is decreased, then the power consumption of the tape driving motor is reduced and the life of a battery is extended. Since guide projecting parts 13 are extendedly provided in the range fully to cover the width of the tape running line between the hubs 7 and rotary guide rollers 10, the tape 6 is safely run without being caught by ends of the guide projecting parts 13.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load for a motor and to attain a long life of a battery by reducing the sliding resistance between a projecting guide part and a tape in such a manner that the sliding part of the projecting guide part in contact with the tape for controlling the breadthwise direction of the tape running in a casing is formed with a fluorinated resin at the inner surface side of the cassette casing. SOLUTION: The projecting guide parts 20 for controlling the breadthwise direction of tape 6 are symmetrically provided at the positions near fixed guide pins 11 of the cassette casing 1 inside. Since the projecting guide parts 20 are projectingly formed in the rib like state while confronting with respective inner surface sides of an upper half 2 and a lower half 3 of the cassette casing 1, the movement in the breadthwise direction of the running tape 6 is controlled by means of being guided with these projecting guide parts 20. Since the projecting guide parts 20 and a base part 20A are molded by the fluorinated resin, the frictional resistance between the tape and the slidable contact part is reduced, and the load for the tape driving motor is lightened and the power consumption is reduced, thereby extending a life of the driving battery.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce modulation noise due to the vibration generated at the time of using the cassette, e.g. on a tape cassette wherein a magnetic tape is housed inside the cassette casing as a recording medium. SOLUTION: At least a part of the cassette casing is formed by a cellulose resin. For instance, plates 40, 41 molded by the cellulose resin are adhered on the outer surface of a shell 3. Thus, the vibration at the time of using the cassette is reduced by the satisfied vibration damping performance of the cellulose resin, and the modulation noise is suppressed accordingly.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the quality of primary molding and a secondary molding. CONSTITUTION:A recessed part 41 formed by the projecting part for preventing the peeling of resin of a mold plate is surrounded by a plurality of recessed parts surrounding a region where each of the parts is not continuous and the parts corresponding to a gate 40 of the mold plate are included. Therefore, the thickness of a primary molding 32 positioned between both recessed parts 41 is set to a larger value as compared with a part corresponding to a recessed part forming position so that the resin path of the mold plate is not reduced in the direction of the path depth at a position corresponding to the part between both recessed parts 41, thus enabling resin to flow from the inside region of the recessed parts 41 to the outside region when performing injection molding of the primary molding 32 smoothly. Also, since the resin path of the mold plate needs not be increased at a position for forming the recessed parts of the primary molded object 32 so that the projecting part of the primary molded object 32 does not melt into a secondary molding 33 when performing injection molding of the secondary molded object 33.
