Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a printing paper to be supplied smoothly to a printing part irrespectively of the amount of printing papers mounted on a bottom plate of a paper-supplying tray, by a construction wherein the paper-supplying tray having the bottom plate for mounting the printing papers thereon is detachably provided at a paper-supplying part, and a moving means for moving the bottom plate of the tray to the side of a paper-supplying means is provided on the side of a main body of a printer. CONSTITUTION:On the lower side of an opening part 5a of a paper-supplying tray support 5, a paper-supplying lever (moving means) 21 for moving the left end 18b of a bottom plate 18 of a paper-supplying tray 17 to each paper-supplying roller 10 is rotatably supported on a support shaft 22. An operating plate 23 is fixed on a rear plate 3b side of the support shaft 22, and a pin 24 is protruded on the rear plate 3b side of the operating plate 23. The pin 24 is engaged with a canceling means, and when the canceling means is reciprocated, the lever 21 is turned in the direction for pushing upward the bottom plate 18 of the tray 17. A torsion spring 25 is wound around the shaft 22. Printing papers 8 are pressed against the paper-supplying roller 10 with a constant pressure by a turning of the lever 21 and an energizing force of the spring 25, and are supplied smoothly to a printing part 7 by one sheet at a time.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a printed printing paper to be easily taken out from a printer, by providing a discharged paper-pushing means for pushing out a printing paper, which is fed out to a first paper-discharging position of a paper- discharging part by a paper-discharging means, to a second paper-discharging position located on the outside of a main body of a printer. CONSTITUTION:After printing is finished, a printing paper 8 is fed out onto a paper-discharging tray support 6 by a paper-discharging roller 12, is guided and restricted in movement by a guide piece part 37a, and is set onto a higher bottom part 35 of the tray support 6. Thereafter, an operating plate 121 is moved in the opposite direction, and a pair of paper pushing-out parts 38a, 38b of a paper-discharging pushing-out pawl 38 operated in conjugation with the plate 121 are returned to their initial positions to protrude from a pair of opening parts 35a, 35a, whereby the paper 8 set on the bottom part 35 is pushed out onto a paper-discharging tray 45, and a paper-discharging operation is thereby completed. Thus, the printing paper 8 on the tray support 6 is forcibly pushed out to the tray 45, so that the printing paper 8 can be easily taken out on the front side of a printer.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the number of bars provided on a ribbon, by a method wherein the output pulse number of a frequency generator required for the ribbon transfer from one coloring part to another coloring part is operated for feeding a ribbon. CONSTITUTION:When a ribbon 3 moves and a sensor 16 detects a head setting bar 14, the ribbon 3 stops moving and a thermal head 8 comes into pressure contact with the ribbon 3. With the start of printing, a take-up spool 2 rotates to be wound round with the ribbon 3. Due to this rotation a frequency generator 17 outputs pulses, and a counter 20 counts the pulses. After the completion of a printing with Y for one picture plane, a pulse number N1 in a printing interval for the one picture plane remains in the counter 20, and a ribbon motor 4 stops. A first arithmetic means 21 calculates the travel distance of the ribbon 3 per pulse from the pulse number N1, and a second arithmetic means 22 calculates a pulse number N2 of the generator 17 required for a next head setting for a coloring part 13 from the obtained travel distance. After that, when the ribbon 3 moves and the pulse number comes to N2, the head setting position of an M coloring part moves to the position opposed to a thermal head 8.
