Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly zoom an object. SOLUTION: The designation part of an arithmetic part 53 of an image display apparatus 12 designates an object. A sensing part senses a change which exceeds a threshold in at least part of the object when a user zooms in on the object at a designated zoom rate. A zoom part zooms in on the object at the zoom rate which is just less than that when there is a change that exceeds the threshold in at least part of the object when there is a change that exceeds the threshold in at least part of the object when the user zooms in on the object at the designated zoom rate. The zoom part zooms in on the object at the designated zoom rate when there is no change that exceeds the threshold in at least part of the object even when the user zooms in on the object at the designated zoom rate. The invention may be applied to the television receiver and the other information processors. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device and a control system for properly calibrating a sensor. SOLUTION: This input device 1 has a switch 51 for switching between execution of a calibration mode and execution of an operation mode according to input operation from the outside. The switch 51 comprises a capacitive sensor or the like detecting whether a user grips the input device 1 or not. An intention of the user to use the input device 1 can be reflected in detection of a static state of the input device 1, so that the sensor can be properly calibrated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device and a control method, allowing a user to easily perform operation not to cause fatigue. SOLUTION: A casing 10 of this input device 1 has a part 10a of a spherical surface or a multi-degree curved surface of a quadratic or above curved surface formed in a prescribed position of the surface of the casing 10. The position disposed with the lower curved surface 10a is an end part in a longest length direction of the casing 10, for example. Operation parts such as buttons 11, 12 are disposed in an upper half portion opposite to a lower half portion formed with the lower curved surface 10a of the casing 10. By such a shape of the casing 10 of the input device 1, the user can operate the input device 1 with the lower curved surface 10a as a fulcrum in a state that the lower curved surface 10a of the input device 1 is abutted on an abutment object 49 such as a table. Thereby, it becomes easy for the user to operate the input device 1. Because a radius of a rotational moment with the lower curved surface 10a as a center becomes long, a movement range of the casing 10 becomes large. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a touch panel display device, a touch pad, and an electronic apparatus advantageous for improvement of operability. SOLUTION: The touch panel display device 20 comprises a display panel 21, a holder 22, a movable panel unit 24, a support mechanism 26, a first actuator 28, a second actuator 30, an actuator drive control part, and the like. When asymmetrical drive signals are fed to the first and second actuators 28 and 30 from the actuator drive control part, the movable panel unit 24 is vibrated, and consequently, force in the direction along a touched face 2402 is given to a fingertip touching the touched face 2402. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire the position of a guide object more easily, in a mobile information terminal. SOLUTION: In the mobile information terminal 1, a present position detecting part 71 detects the position of the mobile information terminal 1, and a guide object selecting part 73 selects the guide object to be a voice guide object, and detects a guide object direction which is a direction in which the guide object exists, with respect to a reference direction based on the existing direction of the guide object with respect to the position of the mobile information terminal 1. A DSP (digital signal processor) 65 generates composite voice so that guide voice of the selected guide object is heard from the guide object direction, and a loudspeaker 31 outputs the generated composite voice. This constitution is applicable to the mobile information terminal such as a cellphone or a PDA (personal digital assistant). COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to more easily store contents. SOLUTION: An acquisition section 521 of an ID conversion server 512 acquires a program ID of a program of a first broadcast wave supplied from a portable terminal device 501 via a network 110. An ID conversion processing section 522 converts the program ID of the program of the first broadcast wave acquired by the acquisition section 521 into a program ID of a program of a second broadcast wave corresponding to the program of the program ID using an ID conversion table acquired from an ID conversion table database 523. A supply section 524 supplies the program ID, obtained by conversion, of the program of the second broadcast wave to the portable terminal device 501 via the network 110. The present invention may be applicable to content recording systems, for example. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize an imaging apparatus for performing image formation and detection while switching between a transmission state and a blocking state of an electromagnetic wave entering an imaging element section.SOLUTION: Provided is an imaging apparatus including: an imaging element section including a plurality of pixels; and an imaging optical system allowing the imaging element section to form an image of an electromagnetic wave from the outside. A transmission/block section which transmits and blocks the electromagnetic wave to/against the imaging element section is disposed at an aperture stop position in the imaging optical system. An actuator drives the transmission/block section to repeatedly move for switching between a transmission state and a blocking state. A differential signal between an output of the pixels in the imaging element section in the transmission state and an output thereof in the blocking state is taken as a captured image signal output.

SOLUTION: The imaging device includes: a spectrum conversion means for converting the first wavelength electromagnetic wave entering from the imaging object into the second wavelength electromagnetic wave whose wavelength is different from the first wavelength; and an imaging element having the sensitivity at the second wavelength higher than the first wavelength, and receiving the second wavelength electromagnetic wave converted by the spectrum conversion means. The imaging apparatus includes the imaging device. Alternatively, the imaging device includes: a spectrum replacement means for replacing the first wavelength electromagnetic wave entering from the imaging object with the second wavelength electromagnetic wave whose wavelength is different from the first wavelength; and the imaging element having the sensitivity at the second wavelength higher than the first wavelength, and receiving the second wavelength electromagnetic wave replaced by the spectrum replacement means. The imaging apparatus comprises the imaging device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
