    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be able to maintain an excellent preserving state by forming of a ribbon supply spool and a ribbon take-up spool, and forming the take-up spool of two openable semicylindrical members capable of containing the supply spool wound with a ribbon. SOLUTION: When semicylindrical members 21, 22 are matched, the drive end 26 of a ribbon take-up spool 20 is formed at the same side as the drive end 11 of a ribbon supply spool 10. When the members 21, 22 are opened, the spool 11 is removed and the members 21, 22 are closed, an ink ribbon 1 is stuck to the mating surface 23b of the member 21 by a double-sided sticky tape 12, and hence the ribbon 1 is fixed at the mating surface 23b. Thus, the members 21, 22 are formed in a cylinder connected to the ribbon 1, and altered to the spool 20. Then, the drive end 11 of the spool 10 and the drive end 26 of the spool 20 are mounted in a printing machine to start printing.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a tape cassette cover whose body is easy to attach and detach to a video tape cassette or the like. CONSTITUTION:A resinous cover body 2 to cover upper and lower surfaces 11 and 12 and a front surface of a video tape cassette 10 is formed of upper and lower surfaces 2a and 2b and a back surface 2c in a U-shape. Hinges 2d and 2e are formed at a border respectively between the upper surface 2a and the back surface 2c and the lower surface 2b and the back surface 2c of the cover body 2, so that the upper and the lower surfaces 2a and 2b of the cover body 2 can be folded with respect to the back surface 2c. On both end sides of the inside of the upper and the lower surfaces 2a and 2b of the cover body 2, adhesive materials 3 and 4 based on urethane to be applied on the upper and the lower surfaces 2a and 2b of the cover body 2 peelably are fixed to the upper and the lower surfaces 11 and 12 of the tape cassette 10 by adhering agent. By this, only by pasting the respective pasting members 3 and 4 on the tape cassette 10 and peeling them off the tape cassette 10, a cover 1 can be easily attached to the tape cassette 10 and detached off from it.

CONSTITUTION:An annular groove like stepped part 18 is provided to the circumference of the leading end part 17 of a supply spool 9. A spool spring 40 is engaged with the stepped part 18 of the spool 9 and a cord ring 20 is held between the peripheral wall 15 of the spool 9 and the spool spring 40 to be supported in a freely rotatable manner. By this constitution, the detachment of the cord ring 20 from the spool 9 is prevented at the time of the assembling work of an ink cartridge.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a user to lock and unlock a spool every time it is brought in and out of service. CONSTITUTION:A spool 14 or 14' is rotatably housed in a box 2, and a continuous groove 22 in the circumferential direction is formed on the spool 14. Two or more recessed parts 23 are formed at the adjacent place to the groove 22 at intervals in the circumferential direction and connected to the groove 22. Lock clows 9 are provided in the box 2 with thire tips located in the groove 22 or the recessed parts 23. A contracted coil spring 31 is mounted between the inner face of the box 2 and the one-end of the spool 14 or 14' to force 14 or 14' toward the lock clows 9. When it is out of service, the spool is moved by the driving force of the coil spring 31 to a position the lock clows 9 are located in the recessed parts 23, so that the spool is prevented from rotating. When it is in service, the spool moves against the driving force of the coil spring 31 to a position the lock clows 9 are located in the groove 22.

By the use of one set of the spool holders 1, 1A thus constituted, the end parts 10, 10' and 13, 13' of spools 8, 8' are fixed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the anti-idling mechanism of a spool in an ink ribbon cartridge, with which the reduction of cost and man-hour is contrived and the disposability after use of which is improved. CONSTITUTION:One end parts 10 and 10' stuck out of a case acting as driven parts, to which the driving shafts of a printer are connected. Flanges 15 and 15' are formed near the one end parts 10 and 10'. At the other end parts of the respective spools, convergent locked parts 16 and 16' are provided. The tip parts 16a and 16'a are made to be tetragonal forms in cross-section. Tongue pieces 20 and 20' are formed on reinforcing walls 19a and 19'a provided near the supporting walls 17 and 17' of the respective spools. At the same time, a notch engaging with the locked part of the spool is formed at the tip of the tongue piece. When an ink ribbon cartridge is out of use, the notch of the tongue piece is engaged with the tip of the locked part and the flange of the spool is pushed by the elastic force of the tongue piece against the front wall 2a of the case, resulting in checking the spool from rotating.
