    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a printing plate material excellent in both durability and recycling properties. CONSTITUTION: A printing machine plate is made of a plate material consisting of a resin composition, which is prepared by mixing carbon black and a heat decomposable substance with the resin component prepared by mixing an acrylic resin with an impact modifier mainly made of an acrylic rubber under the condition that the mixing ratio of the resin component is 50-160 pt.wt. impact modifier to 100 pt.wt. acrylic resin and the mixing ratio of the resin composition is 5-25 pt.wt. carbon black and 1-10 pt.wt. heat decomposable substance to 100 pt.wt. resin component. Further, as the carbon black, furnace black or minute particle having a primary average particle diameter of 50nm or less is preferable. Furthermore, as the heat decomposable substance, one, which decomposes is the temperature range of 170-500 deg.C, is preferable. As the acrylic resin, one having a weight average molecular weight of 70,000-300,000, is preferable.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an image which has no irregularity in density and correct gradations by detecting the density of a picture element written in a liquid crystal cell and feeding its detection signal back to a writing system. CONSTITUTION:The density of the picture element written in the liquid crystal cell is detected and the detection signal of it is fed back to the writing system to represent gradations of an image. For example, when density at points Pa-Pc is denoted as Ci, preliminary writing is performed according to a curved line 1A, so main writing is performed with a pulse Pw of Tw=0 at the point Pa, with a pulse of Tw=Tb at the point Pb in consideration of the error between curved lines 1A and 1B, and with a pulse Pw of Tw=Tc at the point Pc in consideration of an error between curved lines 1A and 1C. Therefore, the writing becomes equivalent to writing based upon the respective curves 1A-1C at the points Pa-Pc and other points are the same.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To fix a recording image without causing any ink staining by a method in which a power source to generate an electric field is connected between a heat roller and a metal roller and dye present in an ink is polarized by heating and sublimed by the heat roller and diffused along the line of electric force. CONSTITUTION:A metal roller 14 is moved in the direction of arrow B, a heat roller 13 heated by a heating means inside is rotationally moved in the direction of arrow C, and a printing paper 4 is run in the direction of arrow A. On the other hand, the line of electric force is generated between both the rollers 13 and 14 by a power source 15, and then the printing paper 4 is heated by the heat roller 13 and the dispersion dye of the image 16A is sublimated or vaporized and polarized. The polarized dye vapor is diffused acceleratedly along the line of electric force and fixed in the form of the image 16B with lesser ink staining.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a copying medium, make possible multi- color copying and obtain higher definition by a method wherein heat-sublimating dyes in the copying medium is sublimated according to image element information by means of the local generation of heat when electricity is being applied, before being attached to a copying body. CONSTITUTION:A copying medium 13 in such a state that solid dyes 11 are being attached to a belt 6 is transferred to the portion between recording paper 1 and a needle recording electrode 14. If a current flows in this state between the recording elecrrode 14 and an opposite electrode 15 according to image element information 17, the end portion of the recording electrode 14 of the copying medium 13 locally generates heat due to the Joule heat effect, sublimating the dyes 11 in that portion from a solid to liquid. Since a temperature inclination occurs in the direction of low temperatures starting from the recording electrode 14 up to a platen 3 via the copying medium 13 and the recording paper 1, the liquefied dye 11 is cooled on the surface of the recording paper 1, before being attached to the recording paper 1 as they are returned to a solid. As a result, a dyeing point is formed by the dyes 11 as the tip of the needle recording electrode 13 moves.

CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic recording medium comprises a sheet-shaped base 21, a conductive layer 23 provided on the base 21, and a dielectric layer 25 provided on the conductive layer 23. In the electrostatic recording layer, the base 21 or the conductive layer 23 is made to be white in color. With the base 21 or the conductive layer 23 in the recording medium being white, the dielectric layer 23 can be transparent. For example, the dielectric layer 25 is formed from polyvinylidene fluoride, whereby the dielectric layer 25 can be provided with favorable characteristics, and favorable indication through writing of a manuscript can be performed.
