Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and speedily check clearance between parts by displaying a parts pattern, to which an area for clearance is added into external form of planar view of respective parts, onto a layer by a display means. SOLUTION: A monitor displays one or plural layers among a 1st layer 20, a 2nd layer 30 and a 3rd layer 40 corresponding to a circuit board 10 on a drawing. A basic designing device displays the image of clearance pattern of respective parts P to be mounted on the board 10 on the monitor corresponding to these respective layers 20-40. The respective layers 20-40 are formed corresponding to the form of the board 10, and the respective layers 20-40 correspond to the prescribed height positions of parts P to be mounted on the board 10. Thus, since the layers are respectively dividedly constituted, the stereoscopic clearance check is enabled in spite of planar indication, and the similar effect to three-dimensional picture indication through a large scale CAD can be provided.
