Abstract: PURPOSE:To stop a tape at an aimed stopping position with high accuracy by generating positional signals indicating the position of the tape among control signals on the basis of frequency signals from a frequency generator. CONSTITUTION:The terminal voltage Ep of a capacitor 54 rises only by iO. T5/C every time the frequency signals 8FG of time width T5 are inputted to an input terminal 60. When the frequency signals 8FG are inputted only by the moving number of the distance tape corresponding to the pitches of control signals CTL, the terminal voltage Ep is changed into reference voltage Es, and the capacitor 54 is reset by a switch 53. When the control signals CTL are regenerated during movement, the capacitor 54 is clamped to voltage Ec. The terminal voltage Ep is outputted as the positional signals. When the positional signals Ep are turned into reference voltage EB, brake starting signals Bs are outputted.

CONSTITUTION:When a switch is turned on, a flip-flop FF circuit 52 is set to place a system in reproduction mode, and counters 54 and 55 are reset by a signal from the FF circuit 52. Further, an FF circuit 56 is triggered and a microcomputer 26 supplies a reversing command signal to a servo system to reverse a capstan motor 2. When counting 42 reproduction control signals, the counter 54 generates a carry signal to reset the FF circuit 56, and then while the motor 2 is driven normally, the switch of a switch circuit 58 is changed over to a side (b) to supply the reproduction control signal to the counter 55.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To detect assuredly the position of noise and to perform good reroduction with variable speed, by detecting the correlation between the signal in an optional horizontal scan section of a reproduced video signal and the signal in a nearby horizontal scan period and then detecting the position of noise. CONSTITUTION:A switch 4 is controlled by the signal of a head switch signal producing circuit 6, and the reproduced video signals are obtained through heads Ha and Hb. These video signals are delivered to an output terminal 9 through an amplifier 7 and a demodulating circuit 8. The ordinary video signal is not virtually delivered from a subtractor circuit 13 since the correlation is extremely strong between the signals of adjacent horizontal scan period. The noises have no correlation at an area where the noises are reproduced, and therefore a signal of a high level is extracted from the circuit 13 and then supplied to an LPF 14. As a result, the signal due to a single-shot noise, etc. is deleted, and the signal corresponding to the noise position is delivered through a terminal 15.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To always keep a tape tension constant, by decreasing a torque of one of two reel motors and increasing the other torque, in performing vari-speed reproduction through intermittent feeding of a tape with a capstan. CONSTITUTION:When a transistor 16 turns on at the first intermittent feeding, a specific voltage is applied and the torque of a motor 1m is increased. Thus, a tape is strongly pulled and the slack of the tape tension between a capstan and a reel can be prevented. Similarly, when a transistor 25 is turned on at the beginning of the intermittent feeding, a voltage dividing point reaches the ground potential and the torque of a motor 2m is decreased. Thus, the tape tension between the capstan and the reel can be mitigated and damages to the tape due to slip and vibration can be prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To correct the time axis fluctuation of a PCM signal by applying time axis compression to a reproduced PCM signal to correct it into substantial time axis length and correcting it while the video signal system is utilized. CONSTITUTION:A signal So is fed to a CCD 161 as a clock through a transistor (TR) Q4 and a PCM side contact P of a switch 92. Thus, when a PCM signal Sp is extracted from a demodulation circuit 15, since the frequency fo of the signal So is changed, the signal Sp is fetched at a low sampling frequency at each field period to the CCD 161 and extracted at a high frequency from the CCD 161, the signal Sd is subjected to time axis compression to form a PCM signal with normal time axis length. Thus, even when a track 2 is elongated due to the elongation of the tape 1, the PCM demodulation without any deteriorated error rate is attained.
