A first scanning operation is performed on a pixel array in a first direction by a first selection circuit to generate first frame data by first readout circuit. A second scanning operation is performed on the pixel array in a second direction different from the first direction to generate second frame data by a second selection circuit. The first and second frame data are merged into single frame data by an image signal processor.

Abstract: A current control circuit and a bias generator including the current control circuit are provided. The bias generator may include a current mirror circuit configured to generate one of a first current and a second current based on a reference current; a switch circuit configured to transfer one of the first current and the second current to a variable resistor; an operational amplifier including a first input node connected to the switch circuit, a second input node that receives a reference voltage, and an output node that outputs a bias voltage; and the variable resistor connected between the first input node and the output node of the operational amplifier. By switching operation of the switch circuit, a direction in which the first current flows in the variable resistor may be different from a direction in which the second current flows in the variable resistor.

Abstract: An image sensor includes a CIS (CMOS image sensor) pixel, a DVS (dynamic vision sensor) pixel, and an image signal processor. The CIS pixel includes a photoelectric conversion device generating charges corresponding to an incident light and a readout circuit generating an output voltage corresponding to the generated charges. The DVS pixel detects a change in an intensity of the incident light based on the generated charges to output an event signal and does not include a separate photoelectric conversion device. The image signal processor allows the photoelectric conversion device to be connected to the readout circuit or the DVS pixel.
