PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ladder cord that enables easy performance of an assembling operation for inserting a slat and a lifting cord through the ladder cord in a horizontal blind suspending the lifting cord along a warp thread of the ladder cord without insertion of the lifting cord through the slat.SOLUTION: In a ladder cord 1, a large number of tiers of weft threads 3a and 3b are provided between a pair of warp threads 2a and 2b. A lifting cord 6 or a dummy cord capable of being connected to the lifting cord 6 is inserted along the warp threads between the weft threads 3a and 3b.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal blind capable of smoothly lifting a slat and also easily responding to a right and left change-over of an operation device in the horizontal blind hanging a lifting cord outside a head box by guiding the lifting cord from at least one side of a width direction of the head box to the operation device at an end part of the longitudinal direction of the head box within the head box.SOLUTION: A bearing member 4 includes integration means 19b and 19c which integrate lifting cords 11a guided from adjoining bearing members to a center part of forward and backward directions of a head box 1 to guide toward an operation device.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar shading member lifting device equipped with a clutch unit without upsizing a screen take-up shaft which stores the clutch unit.SOLUTION: A clutch unit comprises: a rotation drum 81 rotated based on the operation of an operation cord; a transmission drum 86 for driving a lifting operation part; first and second engaging means 87, 88 formed in the transmission drum 86 and in the rotation drum 81, respectively; and a clutch part for transferring rotation of the rotation drum 81 to the transmission drum 86 by engaging the first and second engaging means 87, 88 with each other and for interrupting transmission between the rotation drum 81 and the transmission drum 86 by releasing the engagement between the first and second engaging means 87, 88. The clutch part moves the rotation drum 81 in its axial direction in accordance with the rotation of the rotation drum 81 to engage the first and second engaging means 87, 88 and release the engagement.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoothly operable operating device of a solar radiation shielding apparatus. SOLUTION: In this solar radiation shielding apparatus, an operating chain formed by connecting balls with a chord member at equal intervals is applied to a pulley rotatably supported on a head box, and a solar radiation shielding material is operated by operating the operating chain. The operating chain 17 extends from the pulley 16 downward through a sheave 20. Recesses and projections 25, 26 engageable with the balls 22 of the operating chain 17 are provided to the sheave 20. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain rail fitting device, having excellent design while supporting a runner moving in a curtain rail and a ring runner moving on the outer peripheral surface of the curtain rail. SOLUTION: In this curtain rail fitting device, an opening groove is formed in the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical curtain rail, either the runner moving in the interior of the curtain rail or the runner moving on the outer peripheral surface is selected and supported, and the curtain rail is fixed to the fitting surface. The device includes: a body part 4 having a fitting recessed part 10 abutting on the outer peripheral surface in the halfway of the outer peripheral surface of the curtain rail 9 to locate the curtain rail; and a rail presser 8 selecting the state of turning the opening groove 20 of the curtain rail 9 downward or the state of turning the opening groove toward the fitting surface 2 to hold the curtain rail 9 in cooperation with the fitting recessed part 10. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjusting device capable of easily adjusting the lower- limit position of a bottom rail without adjusting the length of a ladder cord. SOLUTION: In a horizontal blind, multistage slats and the bottom rail are suspended for support from a head box through the ladder cord, an operating bar 6 for controlling the angle of the slat is suspended for support from one side of the head box, one end of an elevating cord 2 for allowing the slat and the bottom rail to move up and down is connected to the bottom rail, and the other end thereof is inserted into the operating bar 6 through the head box and connected to an equalizer 7, which is operated and permits the other end of the elevating cord 2 to be drawn out from/drawn into the operating bar 6 for the purpose of enabling the bottom rail to move up and down. The equalizer 7 is provided with an adjusting means 8 for adjusting the maximum amount of retraction of the elevating cord 2 into the operating bar 6 so as to take the lower-limit position of the bottom rail as adjustable.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adjusting apparatus which can perform fine adjustment of a lower limit location of a bottom rail without using a driver or other special tools. SOLUTION: A windup shaft 8 housed in the bottom rail 1 is rotatably supported by the same, and a lower end of a ladder code 2 is attached to the windup shaft 8, whereby the windup shaft 8 can be rotatably operated from outside the bottom rail 1 by means of an operating dial 7.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head box of a solar radiation shielding device capable of using an out-fitting type end part cap and a support member in common regardless of thickness. SOLUTION: In this headbox 1 of a solar radiation shielding device supported between a support member 5, a bottom surface and an upper end part for supporting a driving device of a solar radiation shielding material, the bottom surface of the headbox 1 is provided with a projecting part 13 for compensating for the fluctuation of an interval between the bottom surface and the upper end part 14 when thinning a thickness without changing an outside dimension of the headbox 1.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roll-up curtain capable of preventing the generation of abnormal sound at the time of pulling out operation of a fabric curtain and capable of smoothly and regularly developing the fabric curtain in the roll-up curtain for a tilting window. SOLUTION: Guide rails 11 are disposed along the tilting window, plural spindles 16a to 16d are supported between the rails 11 movably along the rails 11, the fabric curtain 18 is hang-supported between the respective spindles, the maximum interval of the respective spindles is set by interval setting means 19a to 19d and the leading spindle 16a is moved down along the rails 11 to pull out following spindles 16b to 16d to pull out the curtain 18. Thus, dead weight lowering preventing devices 20a to 20d preventing moving of the spindles toward the lower side of the guide rails by their dead weight are provided at the respective spindles 16a to 16d.
