    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a slat-angle adjuster in advance when the rotary original point is set at the initial time. SOLUTION: A slat rotary angle detector is composed of an emitting element and a receiving element. And it is constituted of a sensor 25 outputting a signal detecting whether the beam output from the emitting element is received by the receiving element or not, a detection board 26 rotating together with a slat-angle adjusting shaft 16 between the emitting element of the sensor 25 and the receiving element, provided with the end edge changing over to either blocking side against the beam from the emitting element at the rotary original point or allowing side of the beam to pass through, and a controller for the motor, which perceives the rotary original point of the slat 13 by the detection signal of the end edge in the sensor 25 and operates the rotary terminal point of the slat 13 and rotates the end edge toward the emitting position between the emitting element and the receiving element, on the basis of the detection signal of the sensor 25, when the rotary original point is preset at the initial title.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a slat driving device for motor-driven vertical type blind which is equipped with a protecting function for prevention of drop of the durability while the motor is designed in a small size. CONSTITUTION:In such a way as rotatable, slats 3 are supported suspendedly at a number of runners 2 provided in a hanger rail 1, and the leading runner 31 is moved by the needle of a linear motor so that drawing-out and folding of the slats 3 are performed. A stepping motor is installed in a tilt case 4, and a slat rotating mechanism in the hanger rail 1 is driven by this stepping motor. A control device 49 includes a motor protecting device which makes the protecting operations for the linear motor and stepping motor on the basis of the comparison of the amperage of three-phase control current supplied to the needle with the corresponding reference value, comparison of the power supplied to the needle with the corresponding reference value, and comparison of the power supplied to the stepping motor with the reference value.
