Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the faulty registration of respective color toner images due to the looseness of recording material by providing a looseness reducing means and reducing the looseness of recording material before transferring the first toner image to the recording material. SOLUTION: A recording medium (p) fed from a recording medium tray 21 stands by in a state where its head part butts against a pair of timing rollers 201 and 202, and the pair of timing rollers 201 and 202 is driven in specified timing synchronously with the rotation of a transfer drum 3 so as to advance the medium (p) in the rotating direction of the drum 3. After the head of the medium (p) is gripped by the recording medium head gripper 15 of the drum 3, the clutch of the pair of timing rollers 201 and 202 is released to stop the rollers. While tensioning the medium (p), the medium (p) is wound round the drum 3. The recording medium (p) is wound round the drum 3 and held without the looseness by the rollers 201 and 202 or a recording medium pressing roller 27.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent faultily forming an image at the second and succeeding image forming time by supplying moisture to a recording medium before performing the second and succeeding image forming operation out of image forming operation performed plural times. SOLUTION: The moisture is supplied to the recording medium before performing the second and succeeding image forming operation out of the image forming operation performed plural times. In such a case, water permeates in the recording medium from sponge layers 53a and 54a so as to supply the moisture while the recording medium is held and carried in the nip part of a pair of water coating rollers. Much more water is supplied to the recording medium by shortening the axel-to-axel distance of the water coating rollers 53 and 54 and more largely deforming the sponge layers 53a and 54a so that the long nip may be formed. The rollers 53 and 54 are provided with water quantity regulating rollers 57 and 58 for regulating water quantity held at least by the surface layers of the sponge layers 53a and 54a. The rollers 57 and 58 are respectively energized toward the rollers 53 and 54 and driven while press-contacting with the rollers 53 and 54.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stablye develop an electrostatic latent image buy reducing the heaping of toner grains on a blade while uniformizing an electric field in a developing region on a photoreceptor drum. SOLUTION: In this device, the toner grains are stuck to the low absolute potential part of the electrostatic latent image formed on the photoreceptor drum 11 to develop the electrostatic latent image. In such a case, a developing roller 21b for supplying the toner grains to the electrostatic latent image and the blade 21b for removing the toner grains in the surface of the developing roller 21b are made of conductive materials respectively. A developing bias having the same polarity as those of the toner grains is applied to the roller 21b and the blade 21d to prevent the heaping of the toner grains and further, the insulating coating of the developing roller 21b and the blade 21b is dispensed with. Thus, a developing gap in the developing region is kept high in accuracy.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To repeatedly obtain a large number of high image quality prints by a single time of latent image formation even if a latent image is not formed every time the development and transfer are repeated by electrifying a ferroelectric latent image recording medium before the development. CONSTITUTION: This recording device is constituted to include a latent image forming means 2 for forming the latent image based on printing information on the ferroelectric latent image recording medium, a developing means 4 developing the latent image, to obtain a visible image and a transfer means 5 transferring the visible image onto a recording medium and provide an electrifying means 3 before the developing means 4. Preferably, a charge is uniformly imparted to the latent image recording medium by the electrifying means 3 and preferably, a destaticization means 8 is provided after the transfer means 5 and just before the electrifying means 3. Further, it is preferable that the charge having a polarity opposite to that of the electrifying means 3 is uniformly imparted to the latent image recording medium by the destaticization means 8. In this way, when the charge is uniformly applied to the full surface of the ferroelectric latent image recording medium on which the latent image is formed, the development so as to amplify the surface potential difference between an image part and a background part is attained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress the occurrence of dot tailing when the toner image is transferred from a latent image carrying medium to an intermediate transfer medium and to improve the quality of an image by removing excess developer from the surface of a photoreceptor drum after performing pre-transfer charging to uniformly charge the surface of the photoreceptor drum so that the surface of the drum may have the same polarity as that of toner particles. CONSTITUTION:The toner image on the photoreceptor drum 11 is charged with the same polarity as that of the surface of the photoreceptor drum 11 by a corona discharger for a pre-transfer charger 60. Thus, as for the toner image, the toner particles are charged so as to have the same polarity as that of the surface of the toner image by an ion generated by corona discharging, and the toner particles repelling by a repulsive force against the surface of the toner image are made to cohere on the surface of the photoreceptor drum 11, then, liquid carrier is increased on a side closer to the surface of the toner image. Next, as for the used toner image in a desired color, the excess liquid toner, especially, the liquid carrier are removed by an auxiliary squeezing roller 70. The toner image free from the excess liquid carrier is nipped by the intermediate transfer drum 31, and electrically transferred.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide, so to speak, a secret information recording material and to provide a secret recording method by a method wherein though in formation such as a document or the like is temporarily or semipermanently recorded to be stored, it represents a state wherein it can not be apparently visible, and said information is restored to an original state to become visible by putting it in a specific state. CONSTITUTION:An information recording material is obtained wherein a paper like material is composed by including a heat sensitive material indicating heat sensitive reversibility: an invisible state is obtained wherein it can not be visible actually at low temperature: when heated to a read temperature, recorded information comes to be of a visible state wherein it can be actually visually confirmed, and transition between said invisible state and said visible state is reversible: by raising temperature further to recording-erasing temperature higher than read temperature, information recorded previously before that can be erased: the information can be recorded again after erasing the information; said reversible phenomenon can be reproduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily add a telephone number bar code to a personal database storing data so far by converting a telephone number entered by a dial or a pushbutton of a telephone set or a facsimile equipment or the like into a bar code and printing out the code onto recording paper. CONSTITUTION:A temporary storage means is provided, a telephone number after dialing is displayed once on a telephone number display section 8, and after the destination is finally confirmed by talking, a print start switch 9 is activated as required, that is, it is possible to make succeeding calls frequently, then the telephone number processed into a bar code is printed out on recording paper. Thus, wrong dialing is much reduced and the personal database is built up very efficiently.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure the accurate reading performance with an optical read mark recording fabric despite the repetition of a high temperature press treatment by covering the surface of a single superfine fiber set at an identification mark part with the resin of a triazine and/or melamine derivative system. CONSTITUTION:A fabric is primarily made of the superfine fibers of 1 - 0.00001 denier and contains an identification mark which is recorded and can be optically read. Then the surface of a single superfine fiber positioned at least at the identification mark position is covered primarily with the resin of a triazine and/or melamine derivative system. Thus the recording fabric can be accurately read by an optical reader with no error produced substantially. Furthermore the recording fabric is never deteriorated nor faded even with a press treatment applied at a high temperature for cleaning, etc. Thus the recorded information can be accurately read with no deterioration of the print quality.
