    Abstract: PURPOSE:To keep contact between an electrode and an electrolyte plate good even if the thickness of the electrode is decreased by arranging adjacent gas channels of a unit cell so that their projections are shifted each other, and assembling the cell with a separator elastically deformed by projections. CONSTITUTION:A gas channel 33 has a plurality of projections 33a whose tips are in contact with a separator 31 on the surface of a plate and its flat part 33b is in contact with a positive electrode 27. A gas channel 35 has a plurality of projections 35a whose tips are in contact with the separator 31 and its flat part 35b is in contact with a negative electrode 29. The gas channel 33 and the gas channel 35 are arranged so as to shift each other. The total thickness of the electrode 27 (29) and the gas channel 33 (35) is slightly thicker than the thickness of a holder 37. When a cell is assembled, the separator 31 is elastically deformed in wave form by projections 33a, 35a. The electrodes 27, 29 and the channels 33, 35 are elastically supported between electrolyte plates 25, 25.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large-capacity and compact container for transporting a reactor fuel that can transport many fuel assemblies of it at the same time and helps the improvement of the integrity and reliability in the transportation of a fuel. SOLUTION: A container 10 for transporting a nuclear fuel is equipped with a basket 11. The basket 11 is composed by bundling basket-hole elements 12, and fastening devices are placed on two outer wall adjoined to each of the basket-hole elements 12. A basket-hole element assembly 16 of a four-element contact type arrangement whose cross section is quadrangular is composed by combining four basket-hole elements 12 equipped with fastening devices. Pairs of the basket-hole element assemblies 16 are arranged along a circumferential direction to form an almost cylindrical basket 11. The basket-hole element assemblies 16 of the four-element contact type arrangement are quadrangularly arranged so that two outer wall faces where no fastening devices exist can pair by placing them into contact with each other.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and large-capacity container for transporting reactor fuel and a method for transporting the container that makes it possible to improve the integrity and reliability in the transportation of fuel and to transport many fuel bundles at one time. SOLUTION: In each basket hole 13, a fixing device 14 is placed that fastens and locks housed fuel bundles by pressuring them in one or two directions common to all the basket holes 13. A fuel transportation container 10 is set in a vertical position when fuel bundles are loaded. With the axis line of a basket 11 tilted in the direction of a diagonal line if the fuel bundles are fastened in two direction or in the same direction as they are fastened if in one direction or with the main body of the transportation container 10 encasing the basket 11 tilted in the above-mentioned diagonal or one direction, the fuel bundles are hung down and inserted and the fuel bundles are loaded intensively on both inner sides of the basket holes 13 and are fixed by being fastened with a fixing device 14.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel protection device for a nuclear reactor fuel and a method for transporting it which can downsize a fuel protection container by simplifying various kinds of the loading work for the container, increase the efficiency in such work and shorten the working time. SOLUTION: A fuel protection device for a nuclear reactor fuel has a fuel protection container 10 which can stow a fuel assembly 14 such as a MOX fuel. The fuel protection container 10 is so constituted as to have an open top by covering the side of a bottomed main body 11 of the container 10 with a lateral lid 12. At the top of the fuel protection container 10, a jig for mounting hoisting accessories or a hoist-assisting mechanism is fixed in a position of at least one of diagonal lines. The fuel protection container 10 can be hoisted by using the jig for mounting hoisting accessories and so on and can be stably transported to a fuel transportation container.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve the compression efficiency of a compressor by decreasing stress concentration applied to a helical blade. CONSTITUTION: A helical groove 17 provided with a pair of spiral groove walls 17a, 17b is formed at the outer periphery 16a of a roller piston 16. In the helical groove 17, a helical blade 18 made of elastic material is formed so as to advance and retreat. A curved surface is formed at the edge part 26 of a low pressure side groove wall 17a. The curved surface is brought into contact with the low pressure side groove wall 17a and the outer periphery 16a of the roller piston 16 in a cross section orthogonal to the helical groove 17, and its radius of curvature is 0.1mm-0.7mm.
