Abstract:
A sectioned meter box assembly for an agricultural metering system is provided. One metering system for distributing an agricultural product in a field includes a drive input and a drive shaft coupled to the drive input and configured to be driven in rotation by the drive input. The metering system also includes a first meter box assembly having a first housing, a first metering shaft extending through a first plurality of meter rollers within the first housing, and a second metering shaft extending through a second plurality of meter rollers within the first housing. The metering system includes a second meter box assembly having a second housing, a third metering shaft extending through a third plurality of meter rollers within the second housing, and a fourth metering shaft extending through a fourth plurality of meter rollers within the second housing. Each metering shaft is configured to be independently driven by the drive shaft.

La présente invention concerne une machine agricole (1) pour travailler le sol ou pour semer les graines avec un châssis (2) traîné et des organes de travail (3) répartis sur une barre longitudinale (4) en plusieurs sections, ladite barre longitudinale (4) présente au moins deux poutres primaires (4a, 4b) s'étendant sensiblement transversalement à la direction d'avance (A) dans une configuration de travail. La machine agricole est remarquable en ce qu'une poutre secondaire (10a, b) est liée à chaque poutre primaire (4a, 4b) au moyen de deux dispositifs à 10 bielles (11), lesdites poutres secondaires (10a, 10b) supportent lesdits organes de travail (3) et que chaque poutre secondaire (10a, 10b) repose sur le sol au moyen de deux roues d'appui (12) et est susceptible de se déplacer librement durant le travail pour suivre le profil du terrain.
Abstract:
The sowing depth and pressure applied to the unit (6) comprising a seeding coulter (4) and a pressing cylinder (5) of a seed drill (1) may be easily adjusted by means of a drag rod gear (40) linked to an intermediate frame (14) and provided with drag rods (7) that converge in the direction of travel (8). The intermediate frame (14) is in turn hinged to the joints (16) of frame (3), seed hopper (2) or of a leading or supporting machine by means of a supplementary drag rod gear (41). The supplementary drag rod gear (41) may swivel. The sowing depth may thus be easily adjusted. The convergence of the additional drag rod gear (41) may also be adjusted or switched, and the additional drag rod gear (41) may also swivel. The sowing depth and the pressure applied on the seeding coulter (4) and pressing cylinder (5) of all units (6) of a seed drill (1) or sowing machine may thus be easily adjusted from a central location.
