PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid filter having integral attachment means which may take the form of a threaded portion of a filter cartridge.SOLUTION: The threaded portion 124 threadably interacts with a complementary threaded portion of a filter mounting to retain the filter cartridge 101 to the filter mounting. The fluid filter has a cartridge made from two plastic shells 102 welded together. The fluid filter is provided with filter media positioned within a filter cartridge by an end cap with extending ribs welded to one of the two shells which compose the filter cartridge.

The housing compartment (6) is provided with a filter (10), a by-pass passage (9) having an inlet (11) at said housing compartment (6) and an outlet (12) after the said housing compartment (6) and after said second valve (3), said by-pass drainage passage (9) being provided with a valve (4) between the inlet (11) and outlet (12).

Embodiments of a filter device for use in fuel dispensing systems can comprise an inspection element that permits visual observation of fuel that flows inside of the system. The filter device can include a body with a wall that forms a filter chamber. The wall can have one or more apertures that couple with a fuel inlet and a fuel outlet to allow fuel to flow into and about the filter chamber. In one embodiment, the body includes a boss member with a bore that penetrates the wall to expose the filter chamber. The inspection element includes an optical element that fits within the bore and a retaining element that secures to the boss member to retain the optical element therein.

Es wird eine Drainagevorrichtung für einen Filter, insbesondere für einen Kraftstofffilter, vorgeschlagen, welche einen Aufnahmebehälter und eine Befestigungsvorrichtung auf- weist. Der Aufnahmebehälter ist dazu eingerichtet, von dem Filter abfließende Flüssigkeit aufzunehmen. Die Befestigungsvorrichtung ist zur Befestigung der Drainagevorrichtung an dem Filter eingerichtet. Die Befestigungsvorrichtung hat einen Durchlass mit einem Außengewinde zum Austritt der Flüssigkeit von dem Filter in den Aufnahmebehälter.

A waste collection manifold assembly 10 has a housing 13 and a strainer 80. The housing 13 has at least one input port 12A, 12B, 12C, 12D for receiving waste collection products 1 through a vacuum line 4. The housing 13 includes an interior chamber 11 for receiving the waste collection products 1 and a fluid discharge port 14 for passing fluids 6 into a waste collection unit 2. The strainer 80 is located in the chamber 11 and above the fluid discharge port 14. The at least one inlet port 12A, 12B, 12C, 12D is positioned to open alongside an interior chamber wall 13A of the housing 13 above the strainer 80 to direct the flow of the waste collection products 1 in a downward swirl along the interior chamber wall 13 A toward the strainer 80.

A fluid filter for assembly includes an upright housing having a base portion and a cover to allow viewing of a fluid level. The base portion has a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. A filter element has a filter media for filtering the fluid, a bottom end cap connected to the fluid outlet, and a top end cap positioned above the bottom end cap. A mounting member is formed on the top end cap, and a vent passage extends through mounting member for fluid communication between an interior and an exterior of the filter element. An interface structure is connected to cover of the upright housing and is removably engageable with the mounting member of the filter element.
