Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of providing a seamless wireless connection in an elevator system of a building. The method comprises receiving an elevator car request from a passenger who is on a source floor, dispatching an elevator car to the source floor in response to the elevator car request, selecting at least one wireless local area network (WLAN) established in the building, and forwarding the selected at least one WLAN via a network node placed in at least one of an elevator hall of the source floor, the dispatched elevator car, or an elevator hall of a destination floor.
Abstract:
Virtual hall call panel systems for elevator landings and methods of use are provided. The systems include a display and detection assembly positioned proximate an elevator landing door, the display and detection assembly including a projection device and a detection device, a display surface proximate the display and detection assembly configured to display a display image projected by the projection device of the display and detection assembly, and a controller configured to receive input from the display and detection assembly, the controller configured to determine an input based on a detected object detected by the detection device and send a signal based on the input to control an elevator system.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the processing of call inputs of a user by an elevator controller of an elevator installation in which a user inputs either an external call and an internal call or a destination call into the elevator controller, wherein the elevator controller generates at least two sub-calls in reaction to the internal call or the destination call, wherein the sub-calls comprise at least one external call and/or at least one internal call whose destination floor is different from the destination floor of the internal call input by the user. The invention furthermore relates to a method in which an elevator controller generates a destination call or an internal call in reaction to an external call. The invention furthermore relates to corresponding elevator installations designed for carrying out these methods.
Abstract:
A group supervisory control device for an elevator includes a hall call assignment portion assigning a specific car to a hall call registered; an operation prediction portion predicting which is the operation to the next hall registered, regenerative operation or power running operation, and the time for which the regenerating operation or the power running operation is performed when the specific car has stopped at a responding hall; and a door open time control portion comparing the time for which the regenerative operation or the power running operation of the specific car is performed with the remaining running time of any other car performing the power running operation or the regenerative operation already predicted, calculating overlap time for the operations simultaneously, and making door open time set for the specific car changed to determine the door open time that can obtain longer overlap time, whereby a door is closed.
Abstract:
An elevator system is provided. Aspects includes at least one elevator car, a plurality of sensors, a controller coupled to a memory, the controller configured to receive a call request for an elevator car from a user device. An identifier is transmitted to the user device and to the plurality of sensors. A location of the user device is determined based at least in part on at least one sensor in the plurality of sensors detecting the identifier on the user device. And the at least one elevator car is operated based on the location of the user device.
Abstract:
An elevator control device recognizes a destination floor of a user from a voice of the user input to a voice input device, registers a voice car call corresponding to the recognized destination floor, generates stop floor information including a stop floor at which a car stops before the car arrives at the destination floor after the registration of the voice car call, and performs, as a voice announcement that follows the generated stop floor information, any one of a first announcement for notifying of the stop floor in order of floors at which the car stops and a second announcement for notifying of how many floors the car stops at before arriving at the destination floor.

Abstract:
A control system for operating a transportation system including a plurality of vehicles, such as elevators, is disclosed wherein a history of the past performance of the transportation system is stored. This history is analyzed by a digital computer, and the operating mode of the transportation system is changed in accordance with the analysis in order to optimize the performance of the system.
Abstract:
According to an aspect, there is provided an elevator signalization apparatus. The elevator signalization apparatus comprises first receiving means for receiving floor information representing floor occupancy information associated with a building; output means for indicating floor occupancy to a user; second receiving means for receiving user associated information; and transmitting means for transmitting a control signal to an elevator controller based on the received user associated information.
Abstract:
A system and a method for detecting passenger movement, an elevator-calling control method, a readable storage medium and an elevator system are provided by the present disclosure. The system for detecting passenger movement includes: a Bluetooth matrix installed in an elevator landing area, the Bluetooth matrix including at least three Bluetooth modules, and each of the Bluetooth modules being configured to broadcast a Bluetooth signal to the elevator landing area respectively; wherein the system for detecting passenger movement acquires location information of a passenger carrying a personal mobile terminal by using Bluetooth signals broadcast by at least three Bluetooth modules; the system for detecting passenger movement further includes: a movement prediction unit configured to fit a movement trajectory of the passenger in the elevator landing area based on multiple sets of the location information, and predict the movement trajectory to be a calling trajectory or a non-calling trajectory.
