    Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided are a method for the fermentative preparation of L-amino acids and nucleotide sequences coding for the accDA gene by using Coryneform bacteria. CONSTITUTION: Cloned corynebacterium glutamicum DNA is replicable in coryneform microorganisms and contains at least nucleotide sequence coding accDNA gene of SEQ ID NO:1. Coryneform microorganisms transformed with one or more copies of the cloned corynebacterium glutamicum DNA. The shuttle vector pZ1accDA is contained in corynebacterium glutamicum (DSM 12785). The process for producing L-amino acids, comprises the step of culturing a coryneform bacterium that overexpresses the accDA gene.
