Abstract:
The invention provides blocks made of certain material, equipped with drainage and ventilation functions, and a side of the blocks formed with first interlocking part and second interlocking part in the opposite but corresponding side while other two sides without the interlocking part formed with ventilating channels penetrating the center of the block unit and other areas without first and second interlocking parts equipped with chamfered channels in certain length and width. The blocks of the invention are paved in multi-layers and equipped with numerous ventilation channels and longitudinal grooving. Thus, the multi-layer structure provides sound drainage of water and moisture while preventing subsidence of road via maximizing the maintenance period of the pavement.
Abstract:
A paver system comprising a plurality of paver pieces and at least one substrate. Each of the paver pieces has a top surface and a bottom surface. The bottom surface of the paver pieces is configured for mating with the upper surface of the substrate, whereby paver pieces coupled to the substrate are prevented from moving laterally.
Abstract:
A compliant insert for flexibly supporting a synthetic floor tile above a ground surface that includes one or more elongate bodies, with each elongate body having a longitudinal axis oriented parallel to a top surface of the floor tile, a top face having an attachment interface for coupling to a tile support structure extending downward from an underside of the floor tile, and a bottom face of having at least one contact flat for contacting the ground surface and at least one upwardly-directed recess for allowing liquids to flow underneath the insert. Each of the elongate bodies also has a thickness and stiffness sufficient, in an unloaded state, to elevate the support structure a distance above the ground surface.
Abstract:
A moulded block (1) is proposed with water channels (11) below the top surface (2) for draining the latter. The aim is to make the periodic cleaning of these water channels necessitated by dirt deposition less frequent or unnecessary . This is done by providing at least one dirt retaining groove (5, 6) with at least one lateral overflow threshold (9, 10).
Abstract:
Site surfacing (2) with at least two layers, whereby a first layer is a top layer (15), characterised in that a second layer (18) located under the first layer at least partly consists of buffer stones (1) that are each provided with at least one buffer cavity (7) for water.
Abstract:
Pavement formed of paving stones or clinkers (1) that are similar in shape having an upper surface (2) that is designed to step on, an undersurface (3) and side surfaces (4A,4B) extending between the upper surface and undersurface (2-3), characterised in that the paving stones (1) are provided with at least one cavity in the shape of a passage (5) between opposite side surfaces (4A), whereby in at least one of the above-mentioned opposite side surfaces is provided a first recess (7) so as to form a duct (6) which connects the aforesaid passage (5) to the upper surface (2) of the paving stone (1), and a second recess (9) is provided in at least one of the above-mentioned opposite side surfaces (4A) so as to form a duct (8) which connects the passage (5) to the undersurface (3) of the paving stone (1), and whereby the paving stones (1) of the pavement (11) are arranged in such a pattern that the cavity-forming passages (5) are predominantly sealed by adjacent paving stones (1) on one or on both far ends in the axial direction (X-X') of the passages.
Abstract:
A filter element (1) for liquid permeable floor area fastening (17), a floor covering plate (15), a manhole cover (15), a sewage cavity or the like, with at least one pre-filtering layer (3) in the direction of the through-flow (2) and at least one following filter layer (4,4'), wherein the free through-flow sections (a, b, b') of each layer (3, 4, 4') increase from layer to layer in the direction of the through-flow. The filter also comprises a housing (5) which surrounds the filter layers (4,4') in a framelike manner and maintains them, wherein each filter layer (4,4') is formed from granular material and the grains are available in loose form or linked to each other by a weak binding agent.
Abstract:
Paving stone (1) with a top surface (2) and a bottom surface (3) and at least three side faces (4, 5, 6, 7) extending from the top surface to the bottom surface, whereby the paving stone (1) is provided with a first connecting cavity (8) that forms a connection between a first side face (4) and a second side face (5) and with a second connecting cavity (11) that forms a connection between a third side face (4) and another side face (4, 5, 7), whereby the first and second connecting cavities (11) are connected together, whereby the transverse cross-section of both the first connecting cavity (8) and the second connecting cavity (11) is at least 5% of the area of the smallest of the side faces (4, 5, 6, 7) that are connected by this connecting cavity (8, 11).
Abstract:
Ecotechnical pavement comprising a draining and wearing course (1) and at least a second lower layer (2) of analogous structure. The particular granulometry of said layers (1, 2) and the choice of aggregates, insure both an optimum adherence and the absorption of medium and high acoustic frequencies produced by vehicle traffic. Between the two layers (1, 2) and the lower supporting layer (5) there is provided a "cooperating separation layer" (3) which transmits the forces produced by vehicle traffic to the supporting layer (5). The layer (3) acts as a Helmhotz resonator in order to absorb sound at low frequencies, besides allowing an easy transversal flow of rainwater, the passage of powder of heavy metals or the passage of other types of liquids; the latter, which may be dangerous or polluting, are collected in a lateral "reservoir pavement" (9). The separation layer prevents cracks due to fatigue from rising.
