Floor panel for forming a floor covering, which comprises at least one pair of two opposite sides (2-3); wherein this floor panel (1), at this pair of opposite sides (2- 3), comprises coupling parts (6-7) allowing to couple the floor panel (1) to similar floor panels; wherein these coupling parts (6-7), in coupled condition, provide a locking in vertical as well as in horizontal direction; wherein this floor panel (1) has a core (16) which consists of at least two core material parts (39-40), which are provided as a sandwich structure between an upper layer (41) and a bottom layer (42), and which respectively extend up to one of said two sides (2-3); wherein the coupling parts (6-7), at least at one of said sides (3), comprise a locking element (43) in the form of an insert, which is mounted in the core material part (40) present there, which locking element (43) is of the type which, in the coupled condition of two of such floor panels (1), effects a locking in vertical direction; characterized in that said two core material parts (39-40) consist of a different basic material or a basic material with different properties.

A set of essentially identical panels (1, 1′), such as building panels, provided with a mechanical locking system including a displaceable tongue (30), which is arranged in a displacement groove with a first opening at a first edge of a first panel (1). The displaceable tongue is configured to cooperate with a first tongue groove (20), with a second opening at a second edge of an adjacent second panel (1′), for vertical locking of the first and the second edge. The height of the first opening is greater than a second height of the second opening.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Diele (2) zur Bildung eines Belages (1), umfassend ein Tragprofil (3) mit einer Ansichtsfläche (4), zumindest eine im Tragprofil (3) angeordnete Aufnahmenut (5), welche sich ausgehend von der Ansichtsfläche (4) in das Tragprofil (3) hinein erstreckt und durch einander gegenüberliegende Seitenflächen (6, 7) sowie eine Nutgrundfläche (8) begrenzt ist. Die Seitenflächen (6, 7) weisen im Querschnitt gesehen einen sich ausgehend von der Ansichtsfläche (4) des Tragprofils (3) erweiternden Längsverlauf auf. In der Aufnahmenut (5) ist ein Einlageelement (9) aufgenommenen, welches mit seinen Seitenwänden (10, 11) an den Seitenflächen (6, 7) der Aufnahmenut (5) abgestützt ist. Im Bereich der Nutgrundfläche (8) der Aufnahmenut (5) ist zumindest ein Federelement (12) vorgesehen, welches an einer der Nutgrundfläche (8) zugewendeten Basisfläche (13) des Einlageelements (9) anliegt. Die Seitenwände (10, 11) des Einlageelements (9) sind durch das Federelement (12) an die Seitenflächen (6, 7) der Aufnahmenut (5) angedrückt.

The Magnetic Interlocking Portable floor may implement an interlocking tongue-and-groove method for holding panels together. The tongues may have a trapezoidal wedge shape for aligning the panels. The Magnetic Interlocking Portable Floor may implement magnets to assist the connection and alignment of the panels. Further, the magnets may hold the panels together. The use of magnets may prevent the panels from separating at the seams. The panels may include a base, such as hardwood plywood. Further, the panels may include any type of surface for dancing, such as hardwood or laminate.

The present invention relates to a joining system comprising a locking device (1) and a first element (2) and a second element (3) to be joined by the locking device (1). The locking device (1) comprises a first end section (4), a centre section (5), and a second end section (6). The first and second end sections (4, 6) extend in opposite directions from the centre section (5), and at least one surface (7) of each of the first and second end sections (4, 6) are provided with at least one barb (8). The barb (8) is angled in a direction towards the centre section (5). The first and second elements (2, 3) are each provided with a groove (9). The locking device (1) is completely enclosed by the grooves (9) when the first and second elements (2, 3) are joined by the locking device (1).
