Abstract:
A floor tile comprising a base substrate and a laminate layer, wherein the base substrate comprises a top layer with a laminate layer receiver on a top surface thereof and a bottom layer with connecting means for engaging with connecting means of a base substrate of a further tile to form an interconnected flooring system. The top layer of the base substrate extends over connecting means on at least one side of the base substrate, characterized in that the base substrate further comprises waterproofing means for engaging with waterproofing means of a base substrate of at least one further tile to provide a waterproof seal between the tile and at least one further tile.
Abstract:
A floor panel has a rectangular and oblong shape, and includes a substrate and a top layer provided on the substrate and forming a decorative side of the floor panel. The top layer is composed of a print provided on a carrier sheet and a transparent thermoplastic layer situated above the print. The substrate has a thickness from 2 to 10 millimeter and forms at least half of the thickness of the floor panel. The substrate is a polyurethane-based substrate and the transparent thermoplastic layer is polyurethane-based. The floor panel has a length of more than 1.1 meters and has a plurality of reinforcing layers situated outside the center line of the substrate. A reinforcing layer may be provided in combination with the substrate and the top layer.
Abstract:
A floor panel includes a substrate and a top layer provided on the substrate. The top layer is composed of a print and a transparent thermoplastic layer having a thickness of 0.5 mm or less and being situated above said print. The floor panel, at least on two opposite edges, is provided with a straight or curved chamfer extending to below the global level of the print.
Abstract:
A dismountable flooring block comprises a flooring block body, having a first mounting edge portion and a second mounting edge portion, the first mounting edge portion and the second mounting edge portion being thinner than the flooring block body and being laterally extended from the flooring block body. Two mounting members are respectively disposed on an upper surface of the first mounting edge portion and on a bottom surface of the second mounting edge portion, in which a mounting direction of the first mounting edge portion and a mounting direction of the second mounting edge portion are both parallel to an up-and-down direction of the flooring block body, thereby enabling the mounting member of the flooring block body to mount to a mounting member of another flooring block body.
Abstract:
A modular floor tile comprising a substrate having a first land with a support surface and first and second perimeter portions each defining a second land with a surface recessed relative to the support surface, the first and second perimeter portions each defining spaced-apart T-lugs and alternating T-recesses, the T-lugs defining extending abutments and notches, whereby two tiles join together by the T-recesses of a first tile receiving respective T-lugs of a second tile, with each notch receiving a respective one of the abutments and the contacting edges thereof resist separation of adjacent joined tiles during use of the mat.
Abstract:
A floor tile system for protecting a substrate is described. The system includes two tiles or mats that interlock with one another along numerous axes to provide a tight, high-strength seam. Specifically, the tiles include teeth that interlock with teeth of the other tile in a side-by-side manner. The tiles also include male and female portions that interlock when the tile edges overlap with one another.
Abstract:
A disk shaped modular floor tile includes three sets of a first projection, a second projection, and a third projection wherein the second and third projections of the same set are arranged oppositely to each other; and notches each formed between any adjacent first projection and second projection, any adjacent second projection and third projection, or any adjacent third projection and first projection. The first projection has a convex edge between two adjacent notches. The notch has a concave edge formed continuously with the convex edge. Each of the second projection and the third projection comprises a convex edge formed continuously with the concave edge, a first straight edge formed continuously with the convex edge, and a second straight edge formed continuously between the first straight edge and the concave edge. The second straight edge is at an obtuse angle with respect to the first straight edge.
Abstract:
A modular surfacing mat that includes a base mat, a top mat secured to the base mat with an adhesive, and a top coat applied to the top of the top mat to form a protective finish. The top coat may be any coating that provides a protective top finish on the mat, and is preferably a polyurea or polyurethane. The top coat may include a colorant. The top mat is preferably at least partially made from rubber. For example, recycled rubber may be used. The adhesive that bonds the top mat to the base mat is preferably a polyurethane or a polyurea. The base mat is preferably made from a cellular foam structure. For example, cellular foam strucutre may be closed cell polyethylene foam nuggets fused together in a crosslinked matrix.
