Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving a compressor starting the compressor without generating overcurrent and easily starting the compressor even if predetermined pressure exists in a motor. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the method for driving the compressor. The method for driving the compressor including a sensor-less motor having a rotary shaft connected to a rotor, a piston executing compression stroke and suction stroke between a top dead center and a bottom dead center, and a crank part connecting the rotary shaft and the piston, includes a forcible alignment stage positioning the rotor at a predetermined start position in the suction stroke of the piston and a stage accelerating rotation of the forcibly aligned rotor. Abstract:
A method and a device for controlling a capacity change of a compressor, and a smart home appliance. The method includes: determining whether a capacity of the compressor is required to be changed; if yes, determining an intermediate frequency; changing the capacity of the compressor while maintaining the operating frequency of the compressor at the intermediate frequency; and the maintaining the operating frequency of the compressor at the intermediate frequency reduces a sudden change in output of the compressor after the changing the capacity.
Abstract:
A control method for an air compressor including a compressor body for compressing air and an item to be replaced used during the operation of the compressor body. The method includes computing a service time of the item to be replaced, being based upon an operating time of the compressor body, discriminating whether the item to be replaced is a manufacturer's recommended item or not, determining whether or not the service time of the item to be replaced discriminated as the manufacturer's recommend item is not longer than a first reference time, but determining whether or not the service time of the item to be replaced discriminated as one which is not the manufacturer's recommended item is not longer than a preset second reference time which is shorter than the first reference time, and issuing an alarm when determining that the reference time is exceeded.

Abstract:
In at least some embodiments, an electrical system for a pump includes a power supply and a controller coupled to the power supply, the controller supporting a plurality of pump cycle levels. If a voltage of the power supply drops below a first threshold, the controller automatically causes the pump to operate at a lower pump cycle level
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for injecting a pharmaceutical into the human or animal body by means of a simply and quickly exchangeable motorized pump head.
Abstract:
The invention relates in particular to measuring the delivery rate of a positive displacement pump comprising at least one piston (3) driven with reciprocating movement in a chamber (2), which chamber is connected to an inlet circuit (4) via an inlet valve (5) and to an outlet circuit (6) via a delivery valve (7). The number of cycles performed by the pump in unit time are counted, and simultaneously its volumetric efficiency is measured, thereby enabling its real delivery rate to be deduced. Its volumetric efficiency may be measured by means of position sensors (17, 18) detecting the closure and opening instants of the delivery valve, with another sensor determining the instants at which the piston (3) passes through its end positions.
Abstract:
A pump has a signal processor, including one forming part of a printed circuit board assembly, that receives signaling containing information about a voltage supplied to a motor to run a particular pump model, and also containing information about whether a current draw of the pump is lower than a predetermined low current level or is higher than a predetermined high current level; and determines whether to shut off the pump after a predetermined time, based on the signaling received. The signal processor provides control signalling to shut off the pump after the predetermined time if the current draw of the pump is lower than the predetermined low current level or is higher than the predetermined high current level, where the predetermined low current level and the predetermined high current level depend on the voltage being supplied to the motor to run the particular pump model.

Abstract:
An adhesive dispensing system includes a pump and at least one sensor positioned to sense movements of a component of the pump and produce signals based on the sensed movements. The dispensing system also includes a controller communicating with the at least one sensor to collect information regarding operational cycles of the pump based on the signals. As a result, one or more diagnostic processes are enabled at the controller during operation of the adhesive dispensing system. These diagnostic processes may include a leak rate test for the dispensing system, an overspeed detection test for the pump, and expected life cycle monitoring of the pump or other components.
