Abstract:
An electronic photo album is described (Fig. 3A). The electronic photo album provides a way to share electronic photographs with the same ease that regular photographs are shared. The electronic photo album includes a display (200) for reviewing the digital images and an interface (100) to receive images from a digital camera, a flash card, a floppy disc, and the like. The electronic photo album stores digital images internally in a mass storage device configured as a disc drive, flash ram, and the like. On command, the electronic photo album displays the stored images on the display (200) for people to look at and share. The photo album also provides image output capability for displaying the images on televisions, computer monitors, printers, etc.
Abstract:
An imaging and recording apparatus for electrically recording an optical image of a subject as an image information signal which facilitates memory access from an external device and prevents image information from being changed. Upon manipulation of a recording trigger switch (5), an image outputted from a camera signal processing circuit (17) at that time is written into a semiconductor memory (12), then subjected to data compression in a data compression circuit (21), and stored in a semiconductor memory (13). It is now assumed that an external device not illustrated is connected to a connector (14) and this external device orders taking in the image of the semiconductor memory (13). If at this time the semiconductor memory (13) is writing an image, a state detection circuit (23) detects the fact and inhibits the external device from taking in the image. Furthermore, while the external device is taking in the image of the semiconductor memory (13), the state detection circuit (23) detects this fact. Even if the recording trigger switch (5) is manipulated, an AND gate (6) turns off in response to an output of the state detection circuit and inhibits image writing into the semiconductor memory (13).

Abstract:
A digital camera system includes a digital camera unit, and an authenticating unit in which unique setup control data of the digital camera unit is stored. The digital camera unit includes an imaging module that picks up an object image to generate image data, a first human body communication module that conducts communication via a human body, and a first controller that performs a setup operation related to at least one of a plurality of functions of the digital camera unit according to the setup control data received from the authenticating unit by the first human body communication module. In addition, the authenticating unit includes a second human body communication module that conducts communication via the human body, a setup control data storing unit in which the setup control data is stored, and a second controller that causes the setup control data to be transmitted to the digital camera unit via the second human body communication module.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user-friendly image processing apparatus which is improved in operability by simplifying a user's operation in processing data to be processed which has been obtained via a mobile terminal by using the image processing apparatus. SOLUTION: Identification information for establishing connection with a mobile terminal 2 is generated in association with preliminarily registered data processing conditions, and the generated identification information is displayed on a display means 142 in such a manner that the user can see the association of the identification information with the processing conditions. The user inputs predetermined information from among the displayed identification information into the mobile terminal 2 and sends it to the image processing apparatus 1. When the received identification information is appropriate, connection is established between the image processing apparatus 1 and the mobile terminal 2 and data to be processed which has been sent from the mobile terminal 2 is processed under the processing conditions associated with the identification information which has been used for establishing the above connection. Abstract:
A control unit in an MFP determines whether a connection request from a communication device carried by a user has been received. If the control unit determines that the connection request has been received, then the control unit issues network identification information and transmits it to the communication device. When a connection is established, the control unit automatically alters the operation screen to an operation screen related to image processing based on the information transmitted/received to/from the communication device, and accepts an operation to execute image processing.
