Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To speedily control a control value of one or more light-emitting elements whose control values are determined in an earliest stage out of a plurality of light-emitting elements which perform exposure. SOLUTION: The light-emitting elements LD0-LD15 on one side of a laser light-emitting array and the light-emitting elements LD16-LD31 on the other side are used for different photoconductor drums respectively. The light quantity control of the former is performed when the COL SEL signal is 0, and the light quantity control of the latter is performed when the COL SEL signal is 1. In the case of the light-emitting element LD1 in which the light quantity control of the latter is first performed, feedback capacitors of an operational amplifier which control the light quantity are connected with the operational amplifier ahead of lighting of the light-emitting element LD1. Abstract:
A document reading apparatus includes a sensor configured to receive light from a document, an imaging lens configured to form an image of light from the document on the sensor, a first holding member to which the imaging lens is fixed, and a second holding member to which the sensor is fixed, wherein the first holding member and the second holding member are fixed using an adhesive and solder.
Abstract:
An image reader includes a light source, a light reception element, an optical member, and a hold body. The light source applies light to a document. The light reception element receives reflected light reflected by the document. The optical member introduces the reflected light into the light reception element. The hold body has an entry part which is disposed in a portion not contributing to image formation of the reflected light on the light reception element through the optical member. The hold body holds the optical member.
Abstract:
A module 1 movable over the original surface 110 of the original reader 100 has a metal sheet frame 4 disposed in the vicinity of its gravitational center and having a substantially channel-like shape. A first and a second optical systems 2 and 3 and a drive source 6 assembled to be integral with a flat part 40 of the metal sheet frame 4. Thus, a reduced-size, improved quality and improved-accuracy original reader to be used for facsimile devices and image scanners is obtained.
Abstract:
An image forming optical element is provided, in which an incident unit having a first lens face to which a light beam output from an original document (object) is input, an output unit having a second lens face outputting the light beam, and a bent unit connecting the incident unit and the output unit at an angle are integrally formed into a transparent medium. The bent unit has a reflection face reflecting the incident light beam input to the first lens face and guiding the light beam to the second lens face. The incident light beam is collected at any of the incident unit, the bent unit, and the output unit to form an intermediate image of the object, and the intermediate image is formed on the output side of the second lens face to form an erection image of the object.

A scanning device includes a scanner body, a scanning unit, a lens unit, a sensing unit, and a fastening unit. The scanner body has a bottom surface that is formed with two slots. The fastening unit includes two first fastening members disposed respectively within the slots, and two second fastening members engaging respectively and threadably the first fastening members so as to fasten the sensing unit to the scanner body.
Abstract:
An imaging optical array includes a plurality of imaging optical elements, which is arranged in a line in an arrangement direction, each including incidence lens to which light from an object is incident, an emission lens that emits light, and a light guiding portion that connects the incidence lens and the emission lens and that guides the light incident from the incidence lens to the emission lens, and which images an erect equal-magnification image of an object by the incidence lens and the emission lens, in which the plurality of imaging optical elements is integrally formed of a transparent medium in a state where the respective light guiding portions of the plurality of imaging optical elements are arranged in a line in the arrangement direction, and a void between the light guiding portions of the imaging optical elements adjacent to each other is empty in the transparent medium.
Abstract:
An exposure device includes plural light-emitting elements, a light amount detection unit, a controller, plural holding units and a connection unit. The controller sequentially determines control values of the light-emitting elements based on comparison between the light amounts detected by the light amount detection unit and a predetermined reference value. The holding units are provided for the light-emitting elements, respectively. Each holding unit holds a control voltage of the controller. When the controller is to sequentially determine control values of a part of the plurality of light-emitting elements, the connection units connects the controller and the holding units corresponding to one or more light-emitting elements for which control values are determined earliest among the part of the plural light-emitting elements, before the controller determines the control values of the one or more light-emitting elements.

An image forming apparatus is provided. The image forming apparatus includes a latent image carrier on which a latent image is formed, a line head that exposes the latent image carrier, and a developing section that develops the latent image. The line head includes a substrate, a light emitting element disposed on the substrate in a first direction, and a wiring installed on the substrate so as to be withdrawn from one end of the substrate in a second direction perpendicular to or substantially perpendicular to the first direction. The one end is disposed to be the developing section side.
