    Abstract: A picture inputting device which reads a picture recorded on a 35-mm film or a film housed in a cartridge of the new photography system and inputs the picture to a computer after converting the picture into digital picture signals. A film adapter (100) which holds a 35-mm film (401 and 402) or an adapter (300) which holds a cartridge of the new photography system is loaded in the groove section (2) of the device body. The picture recorded on a film is read by means of a linear CCD image sensor (9) and the digital picture signals of the picture is inputted to a computer etc.

    Abstract: 본 고안은 컴퓨터를 연결하지 않아도 미리보기, 스캔 및 저장 기능을 수행할 수 있는 필름 스캐너에 관한 것으로, 특히 매트릭스(matrix)형 금속 산화막 반도체 이미지 센서로 구성되는 설계에 의하여 본체 내부에 프레임을 설치하고 바닥에는 백라이트 기구가 내부에 설치된 베이스를 결합하여 구성된 미리보기, 스캔 및 저장 기능이 자체적으로 구비된 필름 스캐너에 관한 것이다. 상기 본 발명에 따른 필름 스캐너는 본체 내의 프레임 상단에 메인보드, 기능키보드 및 디스플레이보드로 구성되는 회로판 세트를 설치하고, 메인보드에는 이미지 센서와 광학 카메라 렌즈가 결합된 이미지 감지 모듈 및 이미지 프로세싱 저장 모듈을 설치하고, 베이스 내부에는 전원처리장치가 설치되고, 백라이트 기구는 광학 카메라 렌즈에 대응되는 위치에 설치되고, 본체 외부에는 컬러 액정 모니터와 메모리 카드 슬롯이 설치되고, 베이스 결합부의 좌우 양쪽에는 전기적으로 연결된 긴 덕트를 설치하여 필름이 삽입된 필름 캐드리지를 한 쪽의 긴 덕트로 삽입하고, 필름은 백라이트기구를 이용하여 현상되어서 광학 카메라 렌즈에 필름 이미지를 얻고 이미지 센서에 이미지를 구현한다. 그리고 본체의 컬러 액정 모니터를 통해 미리보기와 편집을 한 후 메모리 카드에 저장하거나 컴퓨터로 전송할 수 있고, 메모리 카드에 저장된 이미지는 메모리 카드 슬롯에 삽입한 후 이미지 프로세싱 저장 모듈로 스캔하여 직접 재생하거나 편집할 수 있다.

    Abstract: The improved image inputting apparatus for reading the image recorded on a transmission original comprises: a light source; an image sensor for photoelectrically reading the light that has issued from the light source and which has been transmitted through the original; an imaging lens for permitting the transmitted light to be focused on the image sensor; a focusing device for automatically adjusting a focus of the imaging lens; and a control device for controlling the focusing device before starting the reading of a new image group such that only the first frame of the image group is subjected to one-step automatic focusing or two-step automatic focusing consisting of coarse and fine adjustments whereas the other frames are not subjected to focusing but image reading is performed adopting the focus state of the first frame or are subjected to automatic focusing comprising only fine adjustment. The apparatus can allow projecting light that bears the image recorded on strips or slides to form a satisfactorily and accurately focused image on an image sensor such as CCD sensor, and also permit rapid and efficient image reading and thereby contribute to an improvement in the efficiency with which output images can be produced.

    Abstract: In an image reader, a line image sensor optically and electronically reads by scanning a standardized image-recording frame area of a photographic transparency with the line image sensor. In a regular-reading operation, the frame area is scanned at a fine-scan-pitch with the line image sensor. Prior to the regular-reading operation, a pre-reading operation is executed such that the standardized frame area is scanned at a rough-scan-pitch with the line image sensor. It is determined whether an image to be read from the transparency is recorded on a whole of the standardized frame area or a panorama frame area defined and restricted on the standardized frame area. When it is determined that the image to be read is recorded on the panorama frame area, the execution of the regular-reading operation is regulated such that the panorama frame area is scanned with the line image sensor.
