Abstract:
A private branch exchange excellent in the workability of wiring work and protection of cable. The private branch exchange comprises a private branch exchange function section, and a casing for covering the private branch exchange function section while holding and comprising an intermediate bottom plate, a supporting post section and a base. On the front side in the casing, a cable for external connection can be connected with the private branch exchange function section. The intermediate bottom plate supports a part of the casing for storing the private branch exchange function section from below. The supporting post section is connected to the lower surface side of the intermediate bottom face. The base is connected to the lower part of the supporting post section and supports the casing entirely. Furthermore, front side of the supporting post section is curved to protect the connection cable passing between the intermediate bottom face and the base.
Abstract:
A digital button telephone system which is connected to an analog public network (NW) having a function of transmitting a calling signal including the identification information of the caller through a subscriber line (CO line), incorporates a plurality of extensions to which digital button telephone sets (DKT) (2) or standard telephone sets (STT) (4) are respectively connected as extension terminals, and has a function of exchangingly connecting the subscriber's line to an extension or an extension to another extension. The system comprises terminal storing means in which the information representing the relationship between the caller and the extension terminal (2, 4) is stored in advance. When a calling signal arrives from the network (NW), the caller identification information (caller ID) included in the calling signal is detected by a caller identification information interface unit (RCIU) (12), the extension terminal to be called is determined based on the detected caller ID and the information stored in the storing means by a control unit (RCTU) (16), and the extension terminal is called through a digital telephone set interface unit (RDKU) (13) or standard telephone set interface unit (RSTU) (15).
Abstract:
Disclosed is a private branch exchange (PBX) that offers high efficiency in wiring cables, at the same time, protects cables in highly safety manner. The PBX includes a PBX section and a casing that covers and holds the PBX section. The casing contains an inner-bottom plate, a support column, and a pedestal. Cables for connections with external circuitry can be connected to the PBX section on the front side of the interior of the casing. The inner-bottom plate holds the bottom of the portion of the casing on which the PBX section is accommodated. The support column is disposed on the lower surface of the inner-bottom plate. Disposed beneath the support column, the pedestal holds the entire of the casing. The support column has a curved surface on the front side, protecting cables wired between the inner-bottom plate and the pedestal.
Abstract:
According to this invention, a digital key telephone system connected to an analog public network NW having a function of transmitting a ringing signal including identification information of a calling line through a subscriber line (CO line), accommodating a plurality of extension lines each connected to a digital key telephone (DKT) 2 or a standard telephone (STT) 4 as an extension terminal, and having a function of switching and connecting the subscriber line to the plurality of extension lines or the extension lines to each other includes a called party storage means storing, in advance, information representing the correlation between the calling line and the extension terminals 2 and 4 as a called terminal. When a ringing signal arrives from the analog communication network NW, calling line identification information (caller ID) contained in the ringing signal is detected by a calling line identification information interface unit (RCIU) 12. A control unit (RCTU) 16 determines the called extension terminal on the basis of the detected caller ID and the information stored in the storage means, so the extension terminal receives the call from the digital key telephone interface unit (RDKU) 13 or a standard telephone interface unit (RSTU) 15.

Abstract:
The present invention concerns a modular expandable telecommunication system, such as a private automatic branch exchange system (PABX), comprising a main cabinet and at least one expansion cabinet, which are interconnected with each other in order to obtain an extended telecommunication system with increased connection possibilities for extensions and trunks. System characterised in that the main cabinet (1) and each of the expansion cabinet (2) comprise a transmission interface unit (3, 3') allowing connection of the said expansion cabinet(s) (2) with said main cabinet (1) via a single transmission link (4) conveying voice/data channels and low level or local signalling for performing at least mutual synchronisation and clock recovery for all interconnected cabinets (1 and 2), the main cabinet (1) comprising in particular a master clock device (5), a CPU (6) for running the application and a DSP (7) for routing the higher level messages issued by the CPU (6) depending on the physical location of the destination cabinet (2).
