Abstract:
In einem Verfahren zur Erleichterung der Kaltverformung von Metallen wird ein Schmiermittelfilm aufgebracht, indem man zunächst auf die Metalloberflächen eine wäßrige Lösung oder Dispersion eines wasserlöslichen thermoplastischen Harzes mit einem Gehalt an Melamin!Cyanursäure- bzw. IsocyanursäureAddukt aufbringt und auftrocknet und anschließend mit Metallseife und/oder einem Schmieröl behandelt. Vorzugsweise enthält die wäßrige Lösung oder Dispersion Harz zu Addukt in einem Gewichtsverhältnis von 1 : 0,3 bis 1 : 2. Das Schichtgewicht des aufgetrockneten Harzfilmes sollte 0,3 bis 30 g/m 2 betragen.

Compositions are disclosed that comprise a lubricant, at least a first antioxidant and an optional second antioxidant, the first antioxidant being a styrenated phenolic antioxidant and the optional second antioxidant a secondary diarylamine for synergistic antioxidant action. Also disclosed is a method of increasing the oxidation stability of lubricating oils comprising: adding thereto at least a first antioxidant and, optionally, a second antioxidant, the first antioxidant being a styrenated phenolic antioxidant and the optional second antioxidant a secondary diarylamine.

A lubricating oil composition comprising (A) a base oil for a lubricating oil, (B) oxymolybdenum dithiocarbamate sulfide, (C) an acid amide compound, (D) (d1) a fatty acid partial ester compound and/or (d2) a fatty acid amine compound, and (E) a specific benzotriazole derivative, wherein the content of the component (B) is 0.02 to 0.1 mass% in terms of molybdenum, the content of the component (C) is 0.2 to 1.0 mass%, the content of the component (D) is 0.2 to 1.0 mass%, and the content of the component (E) is 0.02 to 0.1 mass%, based on the total amount of the composition. The lubricating oil composition has excellent friction reduction effect and high anti-corrosion effect against copper and lead and meets the environmental requirements.

A coating composition for a lubricating coating film includes: (A) a phenolic resin (B) an epoxy resin having an epoxy equivalent weight of 600 to 4000; and (C) at least one type of solid lubricant. The epoxy equivalent weight is generally defined by the number average molecular weight per the number of epoxy groups in a single molecule. The coating composition has a weight ratio of component (A) to the total weight of component (A) and component (B) of at least 50 weight %. A lubricating coating film, formed from the coating composition, has a high level of flexibility on surfaces of various base materials.
