An electric apparatus including a connector holding six connecting terminals is provided. Three one-side connecting terminals held by the connector are arranged side by side in a row substantially directly below conductive terminals of three phases of one DC-AC converter. Three another-side connecting terminals held by the connector are arranged side by side in a row at positions offset to a side away from the one-side connecting terminals in an axial direction. Upper-end side connecting parts of the three one-side connecting terminals are set to be lower than upper-end side connecting parts of the three another-side connecting terminals, and are connected to the corresponding conductive terminals above via busbars extending in an up-down direction. The upper end-side connecting parts of the three another-side connecting terminals are connected to corresponding conductive terminals via busbars extending along an arrangement direction of the conductive terminals.

An air compressor (10) includes an air pump (34) with a pump inlet (34a) for receiving air to be pressurized and a pump outlet (34b). An air tank (14) includes a tank inlet (14a) coupled with the pump outlet (34b) for receiving pressurized air from the air pump (34), and a tank outlet (14b) for directing pressurized air from a tank outlet (14b) to at least one pneumatic device (24). A brushless DC motor (36) includes a rotatable output (36a) coupled with the air pump (34) for operating the air pump (34) to pressurize air. A control (42) is electrically coupled to the brushless DC motor (36). The control (42) changes the level of electric current drawn by the brushless DC motor (36) to thereby change the rate of rotation of the rotatable output (36a) and/or the pump performance level.

[Problem]An object of the present invention is to provide the terminal connector and the terminal connection method that are capable of properly keeping the contact area and the contact surface pressure of the electrical contact portion for a long term even if the respective terminals of the motor and the control unit are configured at a simple shape, and to provide the optimum terminal connector and terminal connection method to use for the electric power steering apparatus, the electric actuator and so on.[Means for solving the problem]A terminal connector which connects between a motor-side terminal of a motor and a unit-side terminal of a control unit for the motor, wherein the terminal connector has an electrical contact due to a formation of a junction site between the motor-side terminal and the unit-side terminal by abutting the motor-side terminal and the unit-side terminal and applying a plastic deformation with a machine work to an abutted portion.

An electro-mechanical linear actuator is provided and includes a housing. A motor is supported within the housing and includes an output shaft. A gear package includes a drive package. The gear package is configured to engage the motor such that rotation of the output shaft provides rotation of the gear package. A lead screw engages the gear package such that rotation of the gear package provides rotation of the lead screw. A nut assembly engages the lead screw such that rotation of the output shaft causes axial travel of the nut assembly. A drag link is coupled to the nut assembly such as to provide axial travel of the drag link. An electrical connector is formed as a single unitary body with the housing and is configured to receive an electrical connector in electrical communication with an external controller.

A connector comprises a housing and a lock connected to the housing. The lock has a base extending in a mating direction, a bend extending continuously from a rear end of the base in the mating direction and formed in a U-shape, and a press-fitting protrusion extending from an end of the bend opposite the base. The bend has a bend face facing in the mating direction and is separated from the housing by a bend gap. The press-fitting protrusion is press-fitted in the housing.

Described is an electric machine (1) in a vehicle, in particular a starter or a starting device for starting an internal combustion engine, comprising at first electric terminal (2) and at least one second electric terminal (3). In order to make it easier and less expensive to design and assemble the electric machine in a vehicle, the at least two electric terminals (2, 3) are arranged such that an electric connection to the at least two terminals (2, 3) can be established by means of a connecting device that forms a unit and has at least two electric power cables.

The connector fitting structure includes a case provided with a plurality of holes, a male connector having connectors fitted into the plurality of holes, respectively, and sealing elements as sealing members interposed between the holes and the connectors, respectively. Connectors each have a tapered surface. The respective tapered surfaces are shifted in position such that a tapered surface comes into contact with a sealing element, and then another tapered surface comes into contact with a sealing element.

The invention concerns a motor connector for supplying voltage to a polyphase motor, with a connector housing that contains a number of electrically conductive pass-through elements whose number matches the number of electrical supply lines to be connected. By means of said pass-through elements, the supply lines can be connected electrically to contacts of a connecting plug mounted on the outside of a motor hosing of the polyphase motor, said contacts being connected to the winding conductors of the motor. The operating mode of the motor in delta or star connection can be selected by internal bridge configuration of the pass-through elements. For this purpose, the connector housing has a coding section that is separated from the connection section for the supply lines, with the coding section preferably designed as an enclosed coding chamber so that the connection section forms a connection chamber that is separated from the coding chamber. The bridge configuration is designed as an internal plug connection and is performed by means of a coding plug.

The carrier device has clips (36) mounted on walls of the carrier frame. The chip is merely pressed into a cavity (48) between inner tabs (44) of the chips. The carrier with the chip in place is merely pressed into a cradle (78) formed in the holder by the holder terminals, so outer tabs (46) of the clips press against the holder terminals.
