Abstract:
A wall or vertical stand mounted scanner for large and small format transmissive X-ray films and any type of transmissive media, that incorporates a viewing light box into the case to view the media before and after scanning. The scanner has an external light source (3) that shines through the media onto a lens/CCD camera (5, 6). The media is transported (2) under the light source for scanning and then it is brought back to the viewer for immediate comparison to the scanned image which is displayed on the computer monitor. The entire scanner is mounted vertically. Scanning and viewing is done in the vertical plane to allow for minimal contact between the media and scanner. This vertical orientation discourages any dust or particulates to settle on optical surfaces as they are vertically located. Also a vertically orientated scanning bulb allows streak-causing debris that can form within the scanning bulb itself to fall to the bottom of the bulb. It is possible to pivot the light source below the media to be scanned in order to scan reflective media.
Abstract:
In order to make it possible to see both a film accommodated in a film carrier and a film accommodated in a sheath, a carrier holder is rotatably provided in the upper portion of a viewer main body containing an imaging optical system, a CCD and a signal processing circuit, a carrier inlet is formed in the carrier holder, and head covers are mounted on the carrier holder so as to be capable of being opened and closed. The head covers are provided with a lighting lamp. Supporting arms are mounted on both sides of the viewer main body so as to be capable of being opened and closed.
Abstract:
An image inputting equipment wherein the images of the document are displayed on the transmission thin type display so that the images of the document may be visually superposed on the document corresponding to the images in according with the image information of the document and the positional information of the image inputting portion, and the images of the document to be displayed on the region where the image inputting portion in the transmission thin type display has already passed can be compared with real time with those of the document to be seen with the transmission of the region where the image inputting portion has not passed.
Abstract:
In an information filing apparatus, an image read by a scanner is immediately displayed on a display screen, even though the display screen is smaller than the image to be read. When the display image corresponding to the image which has just been read by the scanner reaches a predetermined location of the display screen, the display image is scrolled in synchronism with an image reading operation of the scanner. The image which has just been read by the scanner is then displayed on the predetermined location of the display screen.
Abstract:
An electronic imaging copier (10) is provided for making enhanced photographic copies of reflection print and transparency types of photographs. An optical image of an original print or transparency is scanned twice by a linear CCD array (76) and filters (106r, 106g, 106b) to provide first and second sets of image signals representative of low and higher resolution versions of the image. At least a portion of the low resolution first set of signals (such as the green signal) is empolyed to provide a preview display of the image on a CRT display (46). The first and second sets of signals are processed to provide a third set of signals representative of an enhanced version of the image which is projected onto a film unit (206) to provide the photographic copy.
Abstract:
Abstract:
An image input apparatus is disclosed, which comprises a running roller (26) manually rolled along an image information surface (P d ) for the scanning thereof, position detecting means (30) for detecting the position of the running roller according to the rotation thereof, a line sensor (25) for reading out image information of the image information surface, a line sensor driving circuit for driving the line sensor according to a control pulse signal having a constant cycle period, and memory means for storing the output of the line sensor. The output of the position detecting means (30) is utilized as address data of a memory to accurately store image information in the memory.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a magnification device for use by blind and/or low vision individuals. The device includes an X-Y table upon which an item to be magnified can be placed. A stationary camera arm and a pivotal monitor arm are oriented over the X-Y table. The monitor arm includes a video monitor pivotally mounted at its distal end. The camera arm also includes two laterally disposed lighting arms. A series of controls are provided along a lower edge of the monitor via a mounting bracket.
